Producer, remixer, and instrumentalist Seven Lions has had a very successful past few years. We first caught wind of the California-based talent back in 2011 when he won Above & Beyond’s “You Gotta Go” remix contest on Beatport and he has been knocking out quality music ever since.

For the past few months, Seven Lions has been accompanying Krewella and Candyland on the “Get Wet” Live Tour but this year marks the first headlining tour for the breakout talent. The “Worlds Apart” tour kicks off in Santa Barbra, CA, Seven Lions’ home town, and will be moving all throughout North America. What can you expect at the show? Disco Donnie Presents would like to extend our congratulations to Cedric Gervais for his recent Grammy win for his remix of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness.” Winning Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical, Gervais beat out many other nominees and hopefuls with the infectious single.

Though we’ve been following the French export for nearly a decade, Gervais reached an entirely new audience this past summer thanks to the Lana rework. The “Summertime Sadness” remix reached #6 on Billboard’s Hot 100 making it the biggest hit of his career.

Having just finished the final leg of his European tour at the close of 2013, Gervais went back in the studio to put the finishing touches on his remix of Miley Cyrus’ latest release, “Adore You.” Taking the single out of the bedroom and into the clubs, the remix, out now on Spinnin’ Records, is sure to find its way to dance floors across the globe.

The “World’s Largest Paint Party,” Life in Color is back once again in 2014 to up-the-anti on their festival series. The “Unleash” Tour will make stops all across the United States and will be giving unlikely cities the chance to be a part of the neon madness. Kicking off on February 21st in Lincoln, Nebraska, get ready to escape reality as you dance to some of the finest artists in the industry.

In the coming months, your weekends are about to get a little hairier. Disco Donnie Presents is joining Candyland and Kill Paris on the Killer Fro tour. Taking over cities all across the United States, come join us on the dance floor and get ready for a genre-bending night of fun.

The co-duo from Santa Barbara, Candyland have only been producing since 2011, but it didn’t take long for them to score their big break. In early 2012, Ethan Davis and Josie Martin won the Bingo Players’ “Rattle” remix contest and scored another win with Skrillex and Damian Marley’s “Make It Bun Dem” remix contest.

Their debut EP Bring the Rain showcased their versatility with tracks ranging from electro house, dubstep, glitch hop, and drum & bass. Trying to pin down the style of Candy is near impossible, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Corey Baker, or Kill Paris, first dove into music composition when he was just 16. Continuing his passion, he later went on to earn a degree in recording arts. After graduation, Corey produced and performed with many country music bands/singers in Nashville but it would be his love for electronic music that led him to his current home of Los Angeles.

With his live sets made almost entirely of his own originals and remixes, you’re sure expect a show like none other melding the worlds of glitch, electro, funk, and bass.

Producing and remixing extraordinaire, Dyro, has seen his career accelerate at a ridiculous speed. It was only back in 2011 that the then 19 year old decided to start producing, but judging by his success, it’s easy to see that his level of talent for exceeds his years. When Dyro put the productions he’d been working on online, one of his own personal heroes Hardwell took notice and played a track of his at Electric Zoo. Subsequently, the track, “Metaphor,” was signed to Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings.

Known for creating massive progressive tracks with electro-tinged drops, Dyro knows exactly how to work that peak-time sound as heard especially in his SiriusXM show Daftastic. Closing out 2013 with mega-hits “Never Say Goodbye” and “Paradise” with Tiësto, Dyro is marching into 2014 with a new release in “Black Smoke,” a slow-burning track with raw, relentless synths.

The success of California-based Deorro is no fluke. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are at the top of their game right now. Releasing banger after banger, the brothers are undoubtedly one of the hottest names in dance music.

Though the brothers didn’t initially have the same the aspirations about their future career paths, the two first came together in 2003 after Dimitri scored residencies at clubs like Privilege and Space Ibizia. Mike, who had long been MCing hip hop for a while, started flowing on top of Dimitri’s sets, just for fun. Party-goers went crazy over the sure-fire formula, but it wasn’t until much later that Dimitri and Mike would feel they could commit to music fully as a career. After moving back to Belgium in 2005, the two built their studio and started focusing on producing and the rest, as they say, is history.
