Paul Oakenfold, Jägermeister and Disco Donnie Presents are on a 'Trance Mission'

With over 40 years in the music industry, composer, DJ, producer, and songwriter Paul Oakenfold has become one of the most indispensable talents of our time. Coined “UK’s #1 DJ, the British talent is gearing up for the upcoming release of his newest album Trance Mission. Due out Perfecto Records and Armada on June 20th, Trance Mission includes twelve cover versions of some of the biggest and most iconic dance records of all time including “Café Del Mar,” “Madagascar,” “Touch Me,” “Adagio for Strings,” and “Toca Me.”

Starting with a completely blank canvas, Paul locked himself in the studio for six months to work on this project, “This album is called Trance Mission – because its filled with a selection of my favorite trance records from the last 25 years and it’s been a bloody mission to finish.” Each classic has been remodeled to fit the sounds of today and whether you were a fan of these songs when they first came out or you’re hearing them for the first time, you’re sure to fall in love with the music (again), “…I’d like to think there’s something for every one of my fans – including those who see me as a trance DJ, those that see me more lined with house and those that know me for my background in film and score.”

In celebration of the album release, Paul Oakenfold and Jägermeister are teaming up to embark on a tour across North America, stopping at every major city from Los Angeles to New York before picking up in Europe by summer’s end. What can you expect at the show? “Let’s cut to the chase – f*ck the boundaries, f*ck genres and the f*ck rules and regulations. Your Mission is to just listen.” You heard the man – come join us on the dance floor as Disco Donnie Presents brings Paul Oakenfold to a city near you:

Morgan Page is Headed to a City Near You This Summer

Growing up in rural Vermont, Morgan Page first started producing electronic music at the age of 12 after being exposed to the genre via a local college radio station – a station that, ironically, he’d become a DJ for later on. After taking an internship with the Plastic City imprint, Page released a steady stream of releases on labels like Bedrock, Nordic Trax, Fiji, and Saw from 2000 through to 2006 before landing on Nettwerk Records, his current home since his 2008 release Elevate.

With three studio albums, two Grammy Awards and five International Dance Music Award nominations, to his credit, Morgan Page has definitely established himself as one of the top producers of our generation. Songs like “Longest Road” and “Fight For You” have become classic anthems and are always sung aloud by fans on dance floors around the globe.

Currently celebrating the release of the “Against the World” remixes, come dance with us as we bring Morgan Page to a city near you. Join us on our partnering dates:

Disco Donnie Presents Brings Borgore to a City Near You

Borgore has had a very busy year. Besides reporting the “Unicorn Zombie Apocalypse” with Shannon Doherty this past April, the self-proclaimed ruiner of dubstep is gearing up for the release of his debut studio album #NEWGOREORDER. The first release from the album, “Ratchet,” is a quick snapshot of what you’ll hear on the album and will forever change the way you picture the nursery rhyme “If You’re Happy and you Know it.”

Borgore has been infecting us with “Gorestep” for quite some time. Incorporating sounds from horror movies, farm animals and sex, the combination of his hilariously questionable and inappropriate lyrics with his signature heavy dubstep sound, make Borgore irresistible to fans around the world.

In true Gore fashion, this spring and summer brought on more audio visual debauchery with the #NEWGOREORDER tour, invading twenty cities in the United States over two months. With shows that have been known to incorporate pole dancers, there are many surprises in store for this tour, but you can definitely expect to hear some of the material off the new album, due out July 8th. Get ready for a new leader as #NEWGOREORDER takes over a city near you. Join us on our partnering dates:

A Whole New 'Worlds' with Porter Robinson and Disco Donnie Presents

Porter Robinson can show you a world – shining and sonically splendid. Gearing up for yet another career milestone, the 21-year old talent recently announced his long-awaited debut album will be unleashed to the masses on August 12th. Due out on Astralwerks, Worlds is a stark, yet welcomed contrast from the sounds that helped shape his career.

Stepping outside the confines of festival main stage structure, the album’s first single, “Sea of Voices” has a beautiful chord progression made with multi-layered synth pads, bringing a hopeful dynamic to an otherwise sombre atmosphere. The second single “Sad Machine,” which premieres Porter on vocals for the first time, takes a very ambient and mystical tone, evoking a cerebral, almost fairytale-like composition. But the addition of fleeting glitchy-edits throughout the track, gives a faint nod to Porter’s electro roots, while continuing on in their sonic evolution.

Moving past the album’s buzzworthy tonal benchmark, Porter has also revealed yet another exciting piece to the Worlds puzzle. This coming fall, Porter is hittin’ the road to embark on the Worlds tour all across North America. Though few details have been revealed, our bet is that much like the album, the tour will showcase Porter’s unique musical vision and artistic metamorphosis. Join Disco Donnie Presents this fall and let Porter share a whole new Worlds with you – here are our partnering dates:

Disco Donnie Presents Blesses di Nation with Ookay

Though he made his international breakthrough less than two years ago, masked trap-crusader Ookay has already left a lasting impression on the burgeoning genre.

First gaining media attention for his remix of Congorock and Sean Paul’s “Bless Di Nation,” Ookay’s first ever Beatport release charted very well on the electronica chart peaking at #10. Instantly gaining support with artists like Borgore, UZ, Flosstradamus, RL Grime, Mayhem, Craze and more, it’s no wonder Vibe Magazine pegged the California-based talent as a trap artist to watch back in 2013.

Though his name is okay, his productions are anything but. Still celebrating the release of “Bouncer” with Dutch outfit Showtek, Ookay knows exactly how to deliver an incomprehensible energy with his music. Ookay behind the decks is equally as talented, “Word around town is that there aren’t a lot of trap DJs using straight CDjs so people are surprised that that’s all I use. I think it helps me connect with the crowd more and put on a show. I get rowdy on stage.”

Come get rowdy with Disco Donnie Presents as we bring Ookay to a city near you…

Take a '#Selfie' with The Chainsmokers and Disco Donnie Presents

Though we know them for the Billboard-topping, international mega-hit “Selfie,” Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart of The Chainsmokers have come from very humble beginnings. Pall had been DJ for Sweet 16s and Bah Mitzahs since he was 12 and Taggart was a music business major turned producer who didn’t believe his hobby could merit a career until he won a contest that gave him the opportunity to open for Steve Aoki – little did he know Aoki would be the one to sign his future hit.

The inspiration behind “#Selfie” was fairly simple, “Alex had the idea of making a song like ‘Eat Sleep Rave Repeat,’ where this guy is ranting and seems like he is on an acid trip,” says Taggart. “We thought, let’s do something like that but make it a girl saying incoherent stupid things while in the bathroom of a nightclub, then she will say, ‘let me take a selfie,’ and it’ll drop.” Finishing the song in 30-minutes, after the two posted the track on SoundCloud, their friend Oliver Luckett, head of social media start-up theAudience, passed it along to Steve Aoki and subsequently, The Chainsmokers made their debut on Dim Mak Records.

“‘#Selfie’ has opened a lot of doors for us,” says Pall. “It has set up collaborations that I can’t mention yet but I’m really excited about. The best is yet to come, so buckle up!” Buckle up we shall! Having just signed a record deal with Republic Records, The Chainsmokers are in the middle of a U.S. tour and will later be releasing an album in the near future.

GTA and Disco Donnie Presents are Taking Over Florida

Though Matt van Toth and Julio Mejia of GTA haven’t been in the scene for long, they know exactly how to steal the show with their unique blend of funky rhythms. After meeting each other through a mutual friend online, the Miami natives uncovered an instant chemistry and immediately went to work in the studio, “[We knew collaborating would be a good idea] the first couple of times we met up and made some tracks. Literally, the first song we made got picked up by Afrojack for his label, which didn’t get released because we couldn’t get the sample cleared, but that was literally the first track we made together.”

Since their official debut with “It’s Time,” the two have gone on to release music on Diplo’s Mad Decent and off-shoot project Jeffree’s, Laidback Luke’s Mixmash, A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold Records, and Steve Angello’s Size Records – and they are just getting started.

Unashamed by their outright refusal to be pigeonholed in any one category, GTA’s originals, remixes, mixes, and live sets range from trap, house, moombahton, electro, booty bass, salsa, big room, and anything they can put their spin on. With their popular mixtape series-turned-tour, “Death to Genres,” GTA promises to get all the bodies moving no matter the tempo; no matter the genre.

Ferry Corsten and Disco Donnie Presents Rock Your Body Rock in Dallas, Scottsdale, Orlando, Tampa

With over two decades of experience, Ferry Corsten is far from a newcomer. Creating a long list of anthems over his extensive career, the Dutch talent is undeniably one of the most respected names in the music industry today.

Getting his start at the ripe young age of 16, Ferry sunk his teeth in the record business producing underground hardcore gabber tracks before eventually transitioning to the trance genre. His first single to make it on any chart was “Don’t Be Afraid” under the alias Moonman – but this was only the beginning for the young talent. Under his solo project of System F, Ferry gave the world a classic in “Out of the Blue.” And as Gouryella, a partnership with another trance legend, Tiësto, the two received a gold record for the track, coincidentally called, “Gouryella.”

Over the years, releases like “Check It Out,” “Minack,” “Brute,” “Punk,” “Rock Your Body Rock,” and “Feel It” have cemented Ferry’s place among the leaders in electronic music. With his podcast #CorstenCountdown and his imprint Flashover Recordings, Ferry continues to showcase new sounds and artists to the world.

Currently, you can find Ferry in the studio, still continuing to innovate his sound and inspire new acts even after all these years. We are excited to bring Dutch DJ, producer, label owner, and self-professed music addict Ferry Corsten to a city near you.
