Plan, Promote, and Party with the New Orleans Campus Ambassador Program

Disco Donnie Presents has been producing festivals and events in New Orleans and surrounding areas for two decades now, so we’ve learned a thing or two about producing events. It takes a lot of time to plan and organize events like Zoolu, a Mardi Gras favorite and staple to the city. And now we’re looking to expand the team. If you’ve ever wanted to get a leg up in the music and entertainment business, here’s your chance!

The Campus Ambassador Program is a new concept where partygoers like you can learn to plan and promote events hosted by Disco Donnie Presents. We’re looking for motivated and socially-active leaders on college campuses across the region, who have a passion for dance music and its culture. We need your insights and experience on your campus to show us how to best market Disco events on your school. Your efforts earn you free entry to the events hosted by Disco Donnie Presents and commission of the total sales made from the tickets you sold.

The Campus Ambassador Program is a great way to sharpen your professional skills and polish your résumé with some eye-catching work experience.

‘Hurricane’ Season Comes Early as Adventure Club Hits Florida With a Set of Tour Dates

One of bass music’s hottest acts this side of the Atlantic, Canadian duo, Adventure Club is making their rounds through the Sunshine State bringing their self-coined clubstep sound to a city near you!

We first started getting down to Adventure Club back in 2012 after their breakout edit of Flight Facilities “Crave You,” but these two BFFs have been palling around since their high school days, long before honing their mutual production prowess. Amassing a devout following largely due to their free music model, Adventure Club have made a name for themselves by giving us a massive, well-constructed library of tunes to listen to while remaining humble through the journey.

In the same vein of their latest remix of MS MR, “Hurricane” season hits Florida a little early as Adventure Club to storm through the state with a string of local shows, brought to you by Disco Donnie Presents. Join us on our partnering dates.

Go 'Snailin' across the USA' with Snails and Disco Donnie Presents

On a mission to destroy any staleness left in the bass music world, in the short span of Snails’ career, he’s done a pretty stand-up job making sure that happens. A refreshing approach with sure-fire talent were all this Montreal-native needed to start building his rapidly growing fan base thanks to hit singles like “Pump This,” “Wild,” and his “Crazy” bootleg with Brillz. Releasing the follow-up to his first Snailed It! Mix, the second volume of the series, “Welcome To Slugz City” was just unleashed on March 4th and to celebrate, Snails is heading out on his first ever headlining tour Snailin USA!

Though we’re almost certain his family and friends go by his birth name of Fred, we voted against that – the bass-loving escargot is one of the most entertaining characters to have come on our radar lately and we don’t want to give that up. Not to mention his work in the studio sees him really coming out of his shell (pun intended), making some slimey-n-grimey tunes that are now on permanent rotation in our headphones.

Last spring, he gave us the first Snailed It! Mix and wowed fans with a tracklist of all unreleased music. Brewing a bold blend of trap, dubstep, and electro, for 2015, Snails is at it again, releasing volume two of the series Welcome To Slugz City. In the same vein as its predecessor, Welcome To Slugz City is loaded with unreleased songs, some of which account for a full EP of previously undelivered Snail-mail.

Ready to take his sonic slime on the road, monsieur Snails embarks on his first headlining tour this spring with Snailin USA. Kicking off March 7th, the talent will be sluggin’ tunes in all parts of the country before bringing the journey to a close in the tail-end of June. Known for his signature “wet” sounds and bass-heavy productions, on tour, there’s no Fred; Fred’s dead, baby – Vive le Snails!

Expect Some 'Collateral' Damages When NERVO Heads Out on Tour This Spring

After kicking off the New Year with us in style at Panamá’s The Day After festival, NERVO’s back on the road stateside for a tour promoting their forthcoming debut album, Collateral. These Aussie-model-singer-songwriter-producing CoverGirls are undeniably one of the biggest acts in dance music and they’re coming to a city near you!

Making waves since the mid-2000s, after years of writing songs for pop stars like Kylie Minogue and Katy Perry, the Nervo twins decided it was time to start producing music under their own name. Giving us hits like “The Way We See the World,” “You’re Gonna Love Again,” and “Hold On,” the sheilas tore through the international club circuit and continue to do so today.

Though they’ve been rocking on stages around the world for quite a bit now, this year, the ladies are eagerly awaiting the release of their debut album, Collateral. Coming out on Ultra Records, the LP features a slew of righteous guest vocalists and NERVO’s signature dirty beats and synth-drenched anthems. Getting ready to release their new single “It Feels,” looks like 2015 has many things in-store for the already unstoppable NERVO duo.

We're Deep in 'The Throes of Winter' With Seven Lions

Now five years since his first release, Seven Lions has enjoyed a quick rise to the top of the bass music’s heavy-hitters thanks to his aptly coined prog-step sound. Continuing his sonic foray in 2015, the California-based talent takes a step away from his signature melodic sounding dubstep on the forthcoming The Throes of Winter EP, due out on Casablanca Records on March 3rd. Celebrating the release the only way he knows how, Seven Lions is melting the ice the season with an accompanying tour!

Coming down from the high of last year’s EP Worlds Apart, Seven Lions has been pummeling through 2015 releasing material from forthcoming EP. Blessing audiences with “Lose Myself” and “A Way To Say Goodbye” back in January and February, respectively, Seven Lions steers away from his spins past musical habits, “I wanted to start making the music more thematic, interesting, and part of something larger,” he explains. “Since artists aren’t releasing proper albums anymore, it makes sense to create something that’s digitally artistic with real cohesion as opposed to tossing out singles and just haphazardly seeing what sticks.” Experimenting with mixed tempos, thriving drops, dark themes, and complex melodies, The Throes of Winter is solid from start to finish and while it might not be the sound you’re used to, it’s certainly a sound you won’t soon forget.

Kicking off the tour with a release party in New York City on MArch 5th, you’re about to enjoy the The Throes of Winter as Disco Donnie Presents brings Seven Lions to a city near you. Join us on our partnering dates…

Dance Until it Hurts With Amsterdam Trap Trio Yellow Claw

Championing their dubstep hip hop hybrid of sound, calling it Amsterdam trap, Dutch trio Yellow Claw have quickly risen in the ranks of bass music’s most in-demand talents in only a matter of few years. Their innovative sound has infiltrated airwaves everywhere, capturing the attention of powerful labels, prestigious producers, and spawning legions of fans worldwide.

When the local Amsterdam nightclub Jimmy Woo first contacted Bizzey, Jim, and Nizzle, it was just to fill an empty time slot at the last minute. Wondering what to call themselves, the Dutchmen drew inspiration from the club; since Jimmy Woo was the hero in a Marvel comicbook of the same name, our three musketeers chose Yellow Claw, the name of the comic’s antagonist. Turning the guest slot into a weekly every Thursday, it was here where the trifecta began experimenting with their signature blend of big drops and twerk-worthy tracks.

Though they have released a number a viral tunes since 2012, Yellow Claw became a known to the world in 2013 with originals and collaborations appearing on Mad Decent, Spinnin Records, and Ultra Records. Their biggest year was soon to follow – closing out 2014 with the launch of their label Barong Family, a partnership with Spinnin’ Records, and the chart-climbing release of “Till It Hurts,” with Ayden, Yellow Claw continue their upward trajectory with Rolling Stone dubbing the producers one of their ‘need to know artists’ who are shaping the sounds of tomorrow. Their impact is about to hit a new magnitude as the boys have signed for an exclusive residency at the Wynn in Las Vegas in 2015.

You could head to Vegas and catch a performance by the trap trio, or, you can see Yellow Claw when they come to a city near you this spring, with a handful of dates brought to you by Disco Donnie Presents! Come dance til it hurts and join us on our partnering dates…

You Know How We Do! Come Soar With Showtek This Spring

The brothers Showtek have been paving a path for themselves for over a decade, never wavering from their eclectically distinctive sound. First dominating the hardstyle genre and taking it to completely new heights, the duo’s efforts continue to influence dance floors all across the globe.

The Dutchman started producing back in 2001 as a hobby in their late teens, but their hobby turned career with the release of their debut single “Defqon 1 Anthem 2006″ immediately followed by their debut album, Today Is Tomorrow. Formerly nicknamed “Kings of Hardstyle,” the brothers may be best known for their feats in the genre but over the year, the boys have destroyed musical limitations and standards, blending their first loves, techno and hardstyle, with the multifaceted dynamic of progressive and electro house styles. Their “Crazy Collab” project is a perfect example of that winning combo with tracks like “Hell Yeah” alongside Tiësto, “Hey!” with Bassjackers, and “How We Do” with Hardwell, all showcasing a wide array of influences crafted seamlessly for the dancefloor.

Keeping the hits coming amidst a hectic tour schedule and Skink duties, Showtek’s latest single “90s By Nature,” featuring the lyrical stylings of MC Ambush, is just a reminder that these talented brothers are flying sky high and are nowhere near coming down for landing – and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Getting ready to launch their Las Vegas residency at Omnia Nightclub inside Caesars Palace, come get naughty by nature when Showtek hits the road with us this spring. Join us on our partnering dates…

'We Are' Together with Dash Berlin and Disco Donnie Presents this Spring

You know the expression, it takes a village… Well, Dash Berlin could tell you a thing or two about what that means. In their latest studio album We Are, the Dutch production trio pay homage to the tremendous support they’ve seen from ‘dashers’ across the globe. With the second installment of the two-part album due out this year, Dash Berlin hit the road for a string of tour dates brought to you by Disco Donnie Presents.

Dash Berlin didn’t start out at the top of DJ Mag’s Top 10. Their big break came about a decade ago when “Til the Sky Falls Down” garnered support from many names on Armada Music and reigned trance charts worldwide. Fast forward to today, Dash Berlin is still humbled by the support of others, saying the new album is a testament to the fact you cannot do it by yourself – that you truly need to help each other.

Marked by their anthemic nature, all eight tracks on their latest effort We Are Pt. I are a tribute to the dancefloor, with recent single “Never Let You Go” proving just that. Currently, hard at work writing the second installment of the We Are series, come see Dash Berlin on the road next month!

‘Guardian’ of Electronic Music Paul van Dyk Hits the Road

The legendary Paul van Dyk hits the road upon the release of his latest remix EP for the “Guardian” single. After more than two decades of globetrotting, Paul van Dyk has long secured his spot as one of the world’s ultimate superstars of electronic music.

Though his roots in trance date back to the early 90s, today Paul van Dyk’s approach is less genre-centric. The internationally revered DJ certainly knows a thing or two about how to get a party started and believes that electronic music is the most progressive kind of music there is saying, “For me, the beauty of electronic music was always about branching out, and [using] all these different elements to create something unique.” The German-born producer’s accomplishments don’t end behind the decks. Growing up in East Berlin and witnessing the political turmoil, amongst other things, has led van Dyk to lead a champion numerous charitable organizations.

Following the release of his most recent single, “Guardian,” an uplifting instant-classic alongside Aly & Fila with vocals from Sue McLaren, Paul van Dyk is ready to keep watch as he heads to a city near you!
