Wake Your Mind with Cosmic Gate this May

German duo Cosmic Gate have remained one of the biggest names in trance for almost 20 years now. As artists, they’ve continued to push the envelope whether it be on the road at every show and festival they play at or in the studio. Never ones to settle down, the duo has unveiled the first edition of their Wake Your Mind Sessions and to celebrate the release of the new mix compilation, the boys are hitting the road with a string of US dates.

Wake Your Mind Sessions 001 is now available for download at Beatport.com.

When the long-time trance A-listers first released their seventh artist album Wake Your Mind back in 2011, the long player was a lauded success, most notably for bringing different styles like trance, progressive, and even house together to create an album that all dance music fans could enjoy. Continuing the album’s manifesto, Cosmic Gate just announced a new member of the Wake Your Mind family – a WYM Sessions mix album. Inspired by the full spectrum of the Wake Your Mind label and radio program, the WYM Sessions encapsulates what Cosmic Gate stands for musically. Much like the track selection for their live shows, the 33 tracks featured on the compilation take listeners through a progression of sounds, each highlighting established dance music artists, future heroes, and other lesser-known influences.

Continuing to expand upon the Wake Your Mind brand, check out the first WYM Sessions out now! Find Cosmic Gate on tour this spring for a blood-pumping live performance!

Bass Warrior Feed Me Descends Upon a City Near You

Armed with a catalog of productions that are sure to do some damage, Feed Me has unleashed a new four-track EP on his own Sotto Voce label titled A Giant Warrior Descends on Tokyo. Fans have waited patiently for a new release from Feed Me ever since he took them on a Psychedelic Journey late last summer and his new extended player is definitely worth the wait.

The EP pays homage to the classic Godzilla folklore, bringing utter chaos to your speakers in the form of four electro heaters sure to ignite this festival season. “After searching through all the corners of dance music and touring multiple versions of tracks and concepts I’m finding it easier to really define where I want to take Feed Me,” he says. “With this EP, I’m moving on to a second album with a clear vision for me and for Sotto Voce. Japanese culture has been a staple of my life so I wanted to bring this into focus with the artwork too – I love pushing for a global feel.”

His menacing green monster character may be easily recognizable, but Feed Me’s originals and remixes are easy to recognize too. His signature ruckus brand of dubstep, electro and drum-focused bangers has blown up both in the UK and Stateside, whether they be under his Feed Me moniker or under his hard-edged drum n’ bass alias, Spor. With bass stabs, serene builds, and tempos that’ll have you swinging from the rafters, fans of the little green monster should start bracing for impact – not only is the entire A Giant Warrior Descends on Tokyo available on SoundCloud for streaming, but the British talent is getting ready to feed his appetite for destruction with a string of tour dates this summer!

We're Makin' Some NightMoves with Zeds Dead in Raleigh

We’re teaming up with Sugar Society and Cult Entertainment for a new night-out concept that resides in the attitudes and radiant energy of the people around you. Introducing NightMoves, an event series coming to Raleigh, North Carolina offering a new twist on nightlife by turning the tables on the DJ and putting the emphasis back on the true movement behind electronic music – the fans.

Moreover, no photos of the performers will be taken. Instead, guests will have access to disposable cameras and a fashion photographer-led booth and those who turn the disposable camera in at the end of the night, earn a spot on the guestlist for the next event. “People don’t want to be told what to experience,” says co-creator Joe Bell, “They want to create the experience themselves. That’s the essence of NightMoves.”

Featuring epic on-stage production and captive lighting elements, NightMoves offers many of the things we’ve come to know and love on the dance floor but with an edge. Ticketholders will receive SMS message blasts relaying the show theme a few days before the event. Its up to the individuals to interpret the theme and determine what it means according to their own unique personalities.

The inaugural show is this Friday, April 17th at The Ritz and features Zeds Dead with local support from Oko Yono.

Disco Donnie Presents is Taking out the Trash With Tommy Trash this Spring

Coming out with his head banging, fist in the air, and hair everywhere, Tommy Trash rejects the clean-shaven gimmick and has an arsenal of his own crafted anthems to suit his rebellious nature. Outside of the studio, the Grammy-nominated producer has a party-hard stage presence with the track selections to match making every set chock full of diverse, floor-filling productions fit to pummel through speakers at global festivals or even warehouse parties in his native Australia.

Though his family may call him Thomas Olsen, the Trash brand has a reputation that far exceeds any government name. Pseudonyms, world tours, residencies, and podcast titles have all taken out the Trash in one way, shape or form. “Trashed came about when I signed my first Las Vegas residency back in 2012. I wanted to create this insane party where my fans could connect with the REAL Tommy Trash. I’d control the environment and experience for my fans like never before. For me, Trashed is the party that you might not remember the next day but you know you had the best f**king time of your life.”

Currently trashing dance floors with his remixes for Caribou’s “I Can’t Do Without You” and Tiga’s “Bugatti,” the Trash montage continues this Spring and Summer with the Just Trash It tour. Starting off with a few dates in Europe, Just Trash It makes its way back to the States in mid-April with special guest Wax Motif. Disco Donnie Presents wants you to get trashed which is why we’re bringing the tour to a city near you! Join us on our partnering dates…

‘Hurricane’ Season Comes Early as Adventure Club Hits Florida With a Set of Tour Dates

One of bass music’s hottest acts this side of the Atlantic, Canadian duo, Adventure Club is making their rounds through the Sunshine State bringing their self-coined clubstep sound to a city near you!

We first started getting down to Adventure Club back in 2012 after their breakout edit of Flight Facilities “Crave You,” but these two BFFs have been palling around since their high school days, long before honing their mutual production prowess. Amassing a devout following largely due to their free music model, Adventure Club have made a name for themselves by giving us a massive, well-constructed library of tunes to listen to while remaining humble through the journey.

In the same vein of their latest remix of MS MR, “Hurricane” season hits Florida a little early as Adventure Club to storm through the state with a string of local shows, brought to you by Disco Donnie Presents. Join us on our partnering dates.

Go 'Snailin' across the USA' with Snails and Disco Donnie Presents

On a mission to destroy any staleness left in the bass music world, in the short span of Snails’ career, he’s done a pretty stand-up job making sure that happens. A refreshing approach with sure-fire talent were all this Montreal-native needed to start building his rapidly growing fan base thanks to hit singles like “Pump This,” “Wild,” and his “Crazy” bootleg with Brillz. Releasing the follow-up to his first Snailed It! Mix, the second volume of the series, “Welcome To Slugz City” was just unleashed on March 4th and to celebrate, Snails is heading out on his first ever headlining tour Snailin USA!

Though we’re almost certain his family and friends go by his birth name of Fred, we voted against that – the bass-loving escargot is one of the most entertaining characters to have come on our radar lately and we don’t want to give that up. Not to mention his work in the studio sees him really coming out of his shell (pun intended), making some slimey-n-grimey tunes that are now on permanent rotation in our headphones.

Last spring, he gave us the first Snailed It! Mix and wowed fans with a tracklist of all unreleased music. Brewing a bold blend of trap, dubstep, and electro, for 2015, Snails is at it again, releasing volume two of the series Welcome To Slugz City. In the same vein as its predecessor, Welcome To Slugz City is loaded with unreleased songs, some of which account for a full EP of previously undelivered Snail-mail.

Ready to take his sonic slime on the road, monsieur Snails embarks on his first headlining tour this spring with Snailin USA. Kicking off March 7th, the talent will be sluggin’ tunes in all parts of the country before bringing the journey to a close in the tail-end of June. Known for his signature “wet” sounds and bass-heavy productions, on tour, there’s no Fred; Fred’s dead, baby – Vive le Snails!
