Jackal

Jackal

Jackal is one of electronic music’s most dynamic producers. In less than two years, he has released nearly a dozen tracks and branded himself as a forward thinking trap mastermind. His career erupted in 2013 with the success of “Shakedown,” a heave beat-dropping original track with crunchy snares and 808s. Almost instantly, the record got picked up by LOUDPVCK, whose uptempo remix hyped its way to being featured in under the electric sky. Today the song has now reached over 1.5 million plays on SoundCloud.

Growing up in England, Jackal started to make music when he was just a kid. As a teenager he listened to mainly heavy metal, but around the age of 18 started exploring drum and bass. This ultimately led him to study music technology at the University of Canterbury where he began producing signature punchy rhythms. The rise of Skrillex in 2011 inspired Jackal to start making music full-time. He holed up in his room and locked the door, only to emerge later as a seasoned producer with a sound loud enough to be heard around the world.

I just want to make good music… that doesn’t require you knowing who I am.

Wiwek

Wiwek, living in the small town IJsselstein in the Netherlands, is known for fusing electronic elements with tropical rhythms to create a distinctive and refreshing sound, which he likes to call “Jungle Terror”. The jungle terror style, created by himself, got inspired by his own Indian roots in combination with the love for Tribal House and Hip-Hop music.

After releasing the highly anticipated tracks “Angry Birdz” and “On Your Mark”, two tracks that were among the most played tunes at Miami Music Week 2014, the Jungle Terror sound left its mark in the rapidly changing electronic music industry.

Touring wise, 2015 had many highlights with performances at festivals such as Ultra Miami, EDC Vegas, Electric Forrest, Fuji Rock, Nameless, Parookaville, Tomorrowland and Electric Zoo NY to name a few. Not to forget simultaneously worldwide club tours.

Wiwek’s productions dominated the live sets of all major headliners for the 2015 festivals creating an even bigger buzz. With releases on OWSLA, Spinnin Records, Mad Decent, Barong Family, Revealed Recordings and others Wiwek receives international support from all major labels.

After teaming up with artists such as Hardwell, Yellow Claw and GTA the year 2015 can be seen as one of his best years to date. While reaching millions of fans globally with his highly energetic DJ sets, surprising releases and entertaining social media updates. Wiwek is ready to conquer.

One of biggest influencers on the current dance scene, Skrillex, did not leave this unnoticed and signed Wiwek for an EP on his OWSLA label. After spending time in the studio, Wiwek is now ready to let the world experience his evolved, sound. The EP is called “The Free and Rebellious” and is set for a release date on the 26th of February.

While spending a week clearing his head during a trip to the Himalayas, Wiwek has come up with the “The Free and Rebellious” concept. This concept is the basis and main focus of his musical direction for 2016. As Wiwek mentions himself, the “The Free and Rebellious” ideology fits his personality perfect.

“Me as a person is exactly this, when everybody goes left, I take a look, observe and decide myself if I take the road left, right, straight or in between. This can be heard in my music, my socials, my life choices and this will develop even more over time, with new music, crazy stuff for socials, visuals and merchandise. Creating a cool unique brand!”

By releasing “Tropicana”, a collaboration between Wiwek and Valentino Khan, the world had an exclusive sneak peak for what is coming up on the new EP. The EP consists of 5 brand new tracks, including collaborations with Skrillex, Yellow Claw and many more.

With that being said, 2016 will definitely turn out even more successful than what you’ve seen thus far. You are warned, because Wiwek is not planning to slow down. On Your Mark, you better get set!

Rezz

Though young at 22 years of age, REZZ is anything but an amateur. Producing state of the art, genre-bending works, striking a sharp balance between bass heavy and minimal tech compositions, she oozes originality and stands shoulder to shoulder with the very best in the electronic music scene. With a handful of EPs and a full album now under her belt, she’s currently on her second solo-headlining tour that has seen sold out shows across the board.

Starting out as a local DJ in her hometown of Niagara Falls, she was still a teen when she decided that music production was the path she would take. After studying sound design extensively at home and psychology as an aid to her creative process, her experimentation, dedication and hard work paid off in paving the way for a long career ahead as a highly regarded producer of down tempo soundscapes.

REZZ’s headstrong decisiveness and clear vision are arguably the keys to her success so far. She began to build a following on Soundcloud with a series of free releases that caught the ears of EDM golden boys Skrillex and deadmau5. Skrillex subsequently brought her talent to the masses by organizing the release of REZZ’s debut three-track ‘Insurrection EP’ on OWSLA’s The Nest imprint in 2015, which was critically acclaimed and universally lauded, with REZZ being dubbed a “prodigy” (EDM.com) and the “Queen of the Dark Techno Scene” (MTV) in the media.

In 2016 REZZ answered the calls from her fans and released ‘The Silence Is Deafening’ EP on deadmau5’s mau5trap imprint. This launched REZZ into the upper echelons of the electronic music scene, leading to the creation of the ‘Cult of REZZ’ fan base. Her follow-up EP on mau5trap in October 2016 ‘Something Wrong. ‘Here’ caught the attention of the international media, as REZZ began selling out shows around the world.

In the summer of 2017, with worldwide intrigue for REZZ piquing, she dropped her full-length debut ‘Mass Manipulation’ album on mau5trap. Brimming with innovative singles and collaborations that consistently portray the menacing soundscapes she is known for, the album truly showcased REZZ’s forward thinking and unique mentality. With worldwide and critical acclaim pouring in from the likes of Billboard, Mixmag, Dancing Astronaut, and many more is testament to the fact that REZZ has truly become a tastemaker and trendsetter in the industry.

Since running laps around festival circuits throughout the world, including her massive ‘Mass Manipulation’ World Tour in 2017, REZZ’s ever-evolving and idiosyncratic electro sound and work ethic is only getting stronger. With an arsenal of new music and sold out shows to come, REZZ is looking more focused than ever.

Aryay

From his humble beginnings of djing locally in Chicago and interning for Flosstradamus, Aryay is now ready to share his music, which he calls “Lion Sound” with the world. His first original production “The Lawnmower”, peeked interest in ZEDD, Skrillex and Diplo finding a home on Skrillex’s Owsla label.

With Lawnmower not showing any sign of leaving most DJ’s crates, 2014 saw Aryay silently working on his next EP, Vicious. While only releasing one remix in that time, Raury’s “God’s Whisper” with Flosstradamus, Aryay continued to share his “lion sound” with the masses and had everyone waiting for more.

Once the wait was over and the Vicious EP dropped he silenced anyones doubt that his “lion sound” was anything to take a paw at. The future looks bright for Aryay with his production skills roaring out of sound systems all over the world by the most elite of DJs.

Ghastly

Growing up on a goat farm in the desert of Arizona might not be considered the typical American upbringing for the next big DJ and producer, but then again Ghastly isn’t your typical American artist. Many have described the genre bending musician as a partially insane young man with a dark sense of humor. Politely abominable and casually destructive, he wields the catch phrase “born to die” as a mantra to his chaotic lifestyle. His sets have been heralded as “Energetic and eclectic live performances which are sometimes followed by odd speeches about the abnormalities of life, regretful sexual encounters, and well cooked food.” With such a diverse personality and rapport for his fans, it’s clear that Ghastly has one thing on his mind, and that’s to change the world.

After entering the music scene and practicing his talents with touring metal bands such as The Irish Front, David Lee Crow finally found his calling with dance music, and it inspired him to pack up and head to Venice Beach, California to live out of his van and pursue a new career in bass-heavy music. It didn’t take long for him to find his place in the scene, as Ghastly quickly claimed himself a position as Bassrush Resident DJ at Exchange LA, and has also secured a number of releases on chart-topping labels such as OWSLA, Buygore, and Dim Mak to name a few.

Ghastly’s approachable yet hard-hitting style ushers a forward-thinking dynamic that is not often seen in today’s saturated scene, and his solo productions and collaborations present an unequivocal level of determination and finesse that fuses multiple styles together. Uniquely creating hybrid blends of house, trap, and dubstep into a pot-pourri of bass, the young producer definitively pushes the boundaries of the entire EDM scene today, and a handful of the industry’s finest have recognized his potential including Skrillex, Diplo, Dillon Francis, Tchami, DJ Snake, Datsik, Borgore, Zomboy, and Zeds Dead. With slew of mentally-stimulating originals and physically-altering collaborations under his belt, such as his original “Miami Connection” with Jauz and single “Crank It” with Mija & Lil Jon, it’s safe to say that Ghastly is on a mission to redefine dance music for all.

4B

At 23 years old deejay and producer, 4B is relentless in his pursuit of aggressive vibey club perfection. Since his first release ‘Bomboclat’ premiered on BBC Radio 1extra’s Diplo & Friends mix, 4B has been wow-ing all the heavy-hitters in the industry, receiving track support from Skrillex, DJ Snake, Diplo, Tiesto, Kaskade, Zeds Dead, RL Grime, Carnage and many more. 4B knew his career was about to get moving when DJ Snake introduced him to Diplo as “the next big thing with the hottest s**t in the streets”. Following up with a slew of original releases on Diplo’s Mad Decent imprint and Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, he quickly solidified himself as one of the most exciting new artists in dance music.

Making it his mission to channel explosive energy into ever-refined productions, 4B’s come a long way since writing his first beats on a high school lunch table in Westfield, New Jersey. His dynamic remixes, including one of Fetty Wap’s ‘My Way’ with Flosstradamus, have garnered millions of plays and praise from all of the major dance publications. His latest release ‘Pop Dat’ was the single most played song on the Mad Decent Boat Party and went on to become the quintessential winter booty-dropping anthem of 2015. It spent weeks on Spotify’s Global Viral 50 chart, where it recently peaked at #6.

As 2016 sets in, 4B continues to push the limits with his music. Upcoming releases find him incorporating a new down-tempo sound into his signature Jersey Club roots. While remaining at the forefront of innovative production, fans can also still count on him to supply them with his recognizable club anthems.
