Thank You for Attending the Leon Jackson Benefit Featuring Kaskade and 12th Planet

Special thanks to everyone who poured into Nashville’s Limelight on January 26th to honor the memory of Leon Jackson, a dance music pioneer for the Music City and owner of long-time partner, Ultimo Productions.

There was a remarkable outcry of support from within the community and we were able to celebrate the life of Leon Jackson with a special benefit show featuring Kaskade and 12th Planet, whereby 100% of proceeds were contributed to the family.

Although Leon Jackson departed on November 24th, 2016 his legacy will last forever. As one of the most influential figures of electronic music in Nashville, he proved that EDM could be economically viable in the country music capital of the world. The space Jackson created allowed local musicians to flourish, and he came to be a role model for an entire generation of promoters, performers, and fans. Leon Jackson is the reason why dance music lives on in Nashville.

We love and miss you dearly. Rest in peace, Leon.

Make It Rain With Cash Cash

Cash Cash first turned to the sounds of dance back in 2008 and since then their name can be seen all over the place. Not to mention a lengthy list of originals and remixes which they collectively produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered on their own. In 2016, the trio released their hit long-player Blood, Sweat & 3 Years, denoting how long it took them to complete the album. Those three years of hard work did not go unnoticed either – the record hit #1 on the iTunes Dance Chart in its opening week.

Now the boys gear up for the tour’s second leg with Cash Cash promising, “you can definitely expect something wild to go down, and can’t wait for everyone to hear all the fresh stuff we do live with new songs off our album.”

Finding His Magnum ‘Opus’

For over a decade, Eric Prydz has been one of dance music’s most celebrated artists. Whether busy curating multiple record labels, or releasing internationally recognized club hits, Prydz’s signature sound comes from a combination of melody, power-hungry bass lines, and those infamous snares.

In 2016, the Swedish talent exceeded his previous gravitas by not only releasing thirty singles throughout the course of a year, but also treating fans to a long-awaited debut album, the aptly-titled Opus. Giving us a long list of mysteriously emotive and intense songs like “Generate” and “Trubble” it’s obvious that Prydz has been working on this effort for quite a while.

Witness the mastermind show off his magnum Opus when Eric Prydz makes his journey through select cities, brought to you by Disco Donnie Presents.

Upcoming Tour Dates

Dubbing his unique style Panda Funk, Deorro’s signature sounds keep bodies moving on the dance floor. While we love originals like “The Disco Donnie” for obvious reasons, over the past year Deorro has shown us just how eclectic his talents are, expertly producing party tunes and euphoric anthems.

On his latest effort “Tell Me Lies” Deorro layers spastic percussion and delicate keys with an absolutely crushing vocal performance by Leslie Roy, reminding his Panda Fam’ that the only thing you can expect is a catalog of music that never repeats itself.

In mid-February, Deorro takes to the road for a Texas run and you’re sure to hear new material off his forthcoming album when he gets behind the decks. Join us on partnering dates for a sample of his high-octane fusion of Dutch, electro, and bass!
