Make a Donation to the SCMF Food Drive and Get Rewarded for Your Efforts

It’s better to give than to receive and at Sun City Music Festival this year, you can help give back to the community when you show up to dance with us as Ascarate Park this Labor Day weekend. Project Disco, SMG Events, and Unite4:Good are teaming up for our newest effort to help partygoers support good causes and usher a positive outreach to our community.

Together we’ll be hosting a food drive benefiting the Salvation Army of El Paso on the festival grounds on both September 5th and 6th. Attendees who RSVP and bring one or more donation of nonperishable food items and/or boxed goods will be entered in our special giveaway pool where you have the chance to win SCMF 2015 VIP upgrades and tickets to SCMF 2016. Though only one item is required, we encourage everyone to bring more than one.

Not only will you get entered in the giveaway pool, you’ll also receive the bonus feeling you get from helping those in need — and the best part: you’ll get your own entrance at the entrance gate to expedite your way into SCMF.

Permitted items for the food drive consist of non-perishables such as canned and boxed goods. Canned essentials include canned soup, canned beans, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned meat, jars of peanut butter, cereal, crackers, powdered milk, boxed mac n’ cheese, bagged rice, packaged dry noodles, baby formula, baby food, diapers (sizes 1-6), baby wipes, etc.

Join Project Disco, SMG Events, and Unite4:Good and help those in the community when you show up to dance this Labor Day weekend.

Unite4:Good in Your Hood with Disco Donnie Presents

Yes, we’re known for being the party people but there’s much more to life than just parties. That’s why we’re excited to announce our partnership with Unite4:Good so that party goers around the world can help promote good causes and positive outreach to the community by just showing up to dance.

Unite4:Good is a platform that bridges the digital world and real-world action by uniting individuals, brands, non-profit organizations, leaders, and influencers with a common goal of creating kindness and social good. Users can earn points through their kindness and philanthropic efforts and have the opportunity to redeem or donate those points in the online marketplace for tangible rewards.

“Unite4:Good is rooted in a mission of engaging individuals in acts of kindness,” says Unite4:Good Founder Anthony Melikhov. “We are truly excited about this partnership because together we will inspire thousands of people in fun and uplifting ways that will create joy as well as be rewarding for the participants. We are looking forward to all of the good that will come from this unique alignment.”

Starting later this year, our partnership with Unite4:Good will offer Disco dancers at our events the chance to participate in on-site activations, promotions, and initiatives that focus on giving back, social good, and compassion towards others, “We believe this partnership is ideal for everyone involved in our events,” says Donnie Estopinal, Founder and CEO of Disco Donnie Presents. “Social values such as kindness, compassion and positivity have become the strongest driving force for dance fans in terms of where they choose to work, what they choose to buy, the content they share online and what causes they support. Music is already the greatest form of self-expression, and we believe that this partnership will create opportunities for our audience to further voice what they stand for.”

The specific initiatives in the marketplace will be uniquely Disco, so come find us on the dance floor and start spreading the love with Unite4:Good and Disco Donnie Presents. To get started, visit u4g.com

Join Project Disco and Do Some Good for the Neighborhood

Starting this year, we’re instituting a brand new set of charitable initiatives called Project Disco that you can be a part of on-site at major Disco events. Project Disco will help partygoers promote good causes and positive outreach to our community just by showing up to dance.

We’re kicking off Project Disco with Unite4:Good, a platform that bridges the digital world and real-world action under a common goal of creating kindness and social good.

Another way to get involved is at Sun City Music Festival in El Paso, Texas this coming Labor Day weekend. Attendees that bring one or more donation of nonperishable food items and/or boxed goods will be eligible for giveaways that are uniquely Disco, including the chance to win 2015 VIP upgrades or tickets for the 2016 edition.

Keep a lookout at all Disco Donnie Presents events for the chance to participate in on-site activations, promotions, and initiatives so that you too can help give back, instill social good, and share compassion towards others.
