Celebrating 30 Years of Disco Presents

Dear Disco Presents Community,

I can’t believe we’ve been raving together for 30 years! When I founded Disco Productions in 1994, I never imagined we’d still be partying in 2024. As we celebrate our 30th anniversary this year, I want to share some exciting news about what lies ahead:

All You Need is Disco Rebrand: Disco Presents

My team is giving me the boot, and we will change the name from “Disco Donnie Presents” to “Disco Presents.” Jokes on them, I’m not going anywhere but what we have built is bigger than just me now, and it deserves a name that exemplifies that. We’re excited for a fresh start and heading into our biggest years ahead.

A Blast from the Past: Our Retro-Inspired Logo

To mark this special year, we’re introducing a new, retro-inspired logo that pays homage to our original Disco Productions logo, which was admittedly ripped off the logo of the vegetable oil brand Crisco. This will be exclusively used in 2024, serving as a nostalgic reminder of our beginnings.

30th Anniversary Contests: A Year-Long Celebration for Our Fans

Dirty 30 Sweepstakes: A Year-Long Celebration for Our Fans

Our journey wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our dedicated fans. To show our appreciation, we have many 30th birthday-inspired special ticket deals, festival activations, and fan contests that will run throughout the year. Stay tuned!

Zoolu 30: A Momentous Celebration

Dual Birthday Parties: Zoolu 30

Our 30th anniversary also marks 30 years of Zoolu in New Orleans. This Mardi Gras, we’ve curated a huge 30th edition featuring RL Grime, Illenium, Kompany, Matroda, Nurko, and Noizu. We’ll also be hosting a special throwback event called Zoolu Allstars with all your heroes from the past, including Rabbit in the Moon (live). Get ready for one heck of a birthday party.

Contact Information Changes

Lastly, please note that we’ll change our URL and emails to discopresents.com in February.

Thank you for being a part of the Disco Presents family over the past 30 years. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or just joined our community, we’re excited to celebrate this milestone with you. Here’s to another 30 years of music, memories, and endless possibilities.

Stay tuned, and let’s make 2024 the most unforgettable year yet!

Sincerely,
Disco Donnie

Ubbi Dubbi Donates $15,000 to Texas Food Banks

Ubbi Dubbi Donates to Texas Food Banks

Despite the economic impact of COVID-19, Ubbi Dubbi Festival producers Disco Donnie Presents (DDP) announced this week the company has donated $15,000 to three Texas Food Banks in the wake of the Texas ice storm, which has left many Texas families in need of food, shelter, and other necessities. Three food banks will receive $5,000 each, which include Houston Food Bank (Houston), North Texas Food Bank (Dallas), and Central Texas Food Bank (Austin). The funds will be shared as gifts from each of the festival characters, Ubbi, Dubbi, and Tubbi. The donation equates to approximately 7,500 meals for those in need. Nearly 1/3 of DDP’s staff was affected by the ice storm, so the challenges faced by Texans hit close to home.

DDP has long donated to charitable causes and philanthropic organizations. A full list of their charitable partners can be found at the Disco Donnie Presents website. Most recently, as a thank you for supporting the sold-out debut of the Ubbi Dubbi Festival, DDP also donated $15,000 to three separate regional Texas charities: The Fort Worth POA “Cops for Kids,” Fort Worth B-Cycle, and Girls Rock Fort Worth. Donating to charities and being involved with the community is an ongoing tradition at DDP.

“Serving the communities we operate in and helping those in need has always been an important part of DDP culture,” the company reaffirmed in a statement. In addition to the donations made by DDP, the company encourages fans and others to give, as even small donations to food banks, such as $30, can feed a family for a month.

Join Ubbi Dubbi and Disco Donnie Presents by making a donation of your own! Donate to the Houston Food Bank, North Texas Food Bank, and Central Texas Food Bank.

Announcing No Parking On The Dance Floor!

no parking on the dance floor

In an unprecedented time across the globe, we must adapt and overcome. Enter No Parking On The Dance Floor. A drive-in dance music experience. No Parking On The Dance Floor represents the beginning of a brand new event series centered around creating a safe place to enjoy the music that we all love during a time where we must remain socially distant. Disco Donnie Presents is excited to be on the forefront of this new innovation for live events.

No Parking On The Dance Floor will use Drive In Movie Theaters as venues for live dance music concerts, curated specifically to regional tastes and focusing on providing new ways for fans to enjoy their favorite artists while observing social distancing.

This experience encourages fan participation. Come with your quarantine partners, maybe even your parents for their first “rave” and embrace this new concept with your own creativity. Fans are encouraged to decorate vehicles, dress up, tailgate, and more.

Upcoming Events

Disco Donnie Presents remains committed to the safety of their guests. Extensive social distancing guidelines are being put in place to ensure the safety of their guests, as well as compliance with local and national authorities.

To commemorate the campaign, we’re producing a very limited number of R.A.V.E. collectors t-shirts.

Get yours before they’re gone!

All proceeds will benefit Headcount.org, a non-partisan organization that uses the power of music to register voters and promote participation in democracy.
