Danny Avila becomes youngest DJ to hold Las Vegas residency

Danny Avila has been in a dizzying whirlwind of success in the past few months. Having headlined some of the biggest venues and festivals in 2013 like Pacha NYC, LIV, Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, and the Ultimate Music Experience, the Spanish import has destroyed all preconceptions about age and raised the bar once again by announcing that he has been named as a resident for Hakkasan Las Vegas opening at MGM Grand this month. This makes him the youngest ever person to hold a residency in the entire history of the city of Las Vegas.

Neil Moffit, head of the group overseeing the club’s launch, says it is Avila’s “captivating drive” and “youthful spirit” that “breathes life into his performances.” Fans of Danny Avila on the East coast can experience the youngster in action when he takes the stage at Sunset Music Festival in just a few short weeks. Carnage dives into electro house with latest release “Signal”

On his Facebook page, Carnage reflects just nine months ago, he was stunned he had a show, let alone, one people would pay to see. Though his first releases were hits in the trap genre, Carnage has recently been stepping out of his comfort zone and delving into the electro house circuit. His newest single, “Signal,” out a few days ago on Spinnin’ Records, takes on big room “festival house” sound and after the second breakdown, releases that trap style that he’s known for.

Outside of “Signal,” Carnage has some other projects in the works that include more electro house, drum and bass heavy songs, and not to mention a little something brewing with the ladies of other Sunset talent, Krewella. Maybe we will get a preview when Carnage (or Krewella) gets on the decks for his set at Sunset Music Festival? There’s only one way to find out. You spoke. We listened. Last week, we announced the addition of a dedicated trance stage at Sunset Music Festival. Today, we can finally share that Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Shogun, Ashley Wallbridge, and KhoMha are set to headline on the newly coined “Isis” stage for Tampa’s highly anticipated event.

Isis was worshipped by ancient Egyptians as not only an ideal wife and mother, but also as the patroness of nature and magic. She befriended everyone–no matter their social standing, occupation, or what things they’d done in their past. Who better than Isis to represent what Sunset is all about?
