Donnie and the Disco Donnie Presents team are deeply saddened by the loss of Scott Hardkiss, a true originator of American electronic dance music.
From underground events in forests, on the beach, or under the desert sky, Scott made an indelible mark on music and was one third of the beloved ’90s SF rave trio Hardkiss, along with Gavin and Robbie.
Together, they helped define the San Francisco rave soundâ€â€a mix of house, techno, breaks, and of course, plenty of psychedelica.
Scott’s contribution to DJ culture will surely be mourned, but it is his heart and spirit that will never fade.
