Whether you are a recent dance music fan, or a long-time veteran, Paul van Dyk is a name that is near impossible to overlook. Having spent the majority of his adult life being a DJ, 2013 has seen the talent avidly touring across the world, infecting a new generation with his euphoric sound. As an artist, his milestones are to be commended. Like being one of the first artists to receive a Grammy nomination in the then newly created Best Dance/Electronic album category for instance. His world-renowned podcast Vonyc Sessions has been showing off Paul’s knack for selecting tracks that can energize any dancefloor for over six years. Through it all, Paul has become a permanent staple in the higher rankings of our community.
Though his first-ever release was in 1994, the East Berlin native shows no signs of slowing down. His latest single, “We Are One 2013,” is a track that exemplifies exactly what the world has come to love about Paul. The synths on this release incorporate a high-energy pandemic with loads of pitch-bending drops.
