Every year at Sunset Music Festival, we get excited to bring an even bigger and better production to all our devoted attendees. Looking back, it all started as a celebration to bring music lovers together and bask in a long weekend of love, positivity, and dancing. To recognize outstanding members of our festival family, and spread the love, we’re launching Celebrate Together(ness) at SMF ’17!

We provide the space, but the experience ultimately relies on you, the fans. Celebrate Together(ness) is a hub of good energy, where you can share inspiring stories that showcase how others possess the power of peace, love, unity, and respect.

To jump start the good vibes, we’re asking you guys to highlight friends who bring the core values of how to Celebrate Together(ness) outside our festival walls and back into everyday life. Plus, look for us on-site at Sunset where we’ll be accepting live, in-person video nominations.

Do you know someone who deserves to be recognized for living a life with a bright light? Nominate someone who Celebrates Together(ness) by filling out our mini questionnaire including the reason behind your nomination, like specific examples of how they bring the Disco values out into the real world.

End Your Weekend With Yellow Claw

After taking the trap world by storm, acclaimed Amsterdam production duo, Yellow Claw, need no introduction. Yellow Claw consists of Jim Aasgier and Nizzle who have mastered a signature mix incorporating elements of trap, hip hop, dubstep, hardstyle, and moombahton. The duo’s unique energy have consistently turned out a string of viral singles. Eventually signing to Mad Decent and Spinnin’ Records, the pair have charted on both Billboard and Beatport, performing live at some of the biggest music festivals including EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival, and Coachella.

Spend Your Saturday Night With Tritonal

Austin-based duo Tritonal consists of DJs Chad Cisneros and David Reed. The production pair have quickly shot into the mainstream, remixing some of today’s hottest tracks and surpassing 53 million streams on Spotify. Growing out of their Texas roots, Tritonal’s original music has continued to chart, growing out of their Texas roots and into selling out iconic venues such as New York’s Terminal 5, San Francisco’s Warfield, and L.A.’s Club Nokia.

Get the Party Started With 4B

At just 23 years old, 4B has been relentless in his pursuit of taking the music world by storm, perfecting his sound and releasing heavy hitters like his debut “Bomboclat” which Diplo & Friends premiered on BBC Radio 1 Extra. Since then he’s received support from Skrillex, DJ Snake, and Tiësto, to name a few, and has followed up with a slew of original releases on Mad Decent and Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records. 4B continues to push the limits, incorporating a new down-tempo sound into his signature Jersey Club stylings.

Pre-Party With Oliver Heldens

Dutch DJ and electronic music producer, Oliver Heldens, burst onto the music scene when he signed to Spinnin’ Records in 2013. His song “Gecko” caught the attention of Tiësto, who then also signed him to his Musical Freedom label, giving Heldens a massive platform and earning industry-wide attention. His follow-up hit single “Koala” became the second-most popular searched dance recording from the 2014 Amsterdam Dance Event, and the following year he achieved 12th place in the DJ Mag Top 100 2015, making him the highest ranked house DJ on the list.

Throughout his career, Heldens has played many high-profile events such as EDC, Amnesia Ibiza, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Electric Zoo, and now has racked up millions of streams on his released tracks. Most recently, collaborating with notable artists like Sander van Doorn and remixing some of today’s hottest tunes.

Start Your Friday Night With Brohug

Stockholm-based production trio, Brohug will also grace the decks at SMF for a special opening set to kick-off the fest’ with Oliver Heldens. The Swedish producers have capitalized on perfecting their big beats and viral tracks infusing influences from all the genres. With their unique sound, complex productions, and the mystique; Brohug bring something new to the table which has earned industry support from the biggest in the business such as DJ Snake, Diplo, Tchami, and Kaskade, to name a few.

Hailing from Brussels, the mysterious Montreal-based producer Apashe has been quietly taking the electronic music world by storm with sleeper tracks that have racked up over a million SoundCloud plays. Start spreading the news – plans for a ridiculous Memorial Day weekend in 2017 are already underway and we are excited to welcome the sixth annual return of Sunset Music Festival to Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on May 27-28th. Though we’re still curating next year’s lineup, you can bet on having some of dance music’s most in-demand players soundtracking our blow-out as you’ve come to expect from us over the years.

The 2016 edition of SMF marked the biggest edition we’ve had to date with 60,000 dancers who made the #Journey2SMF to witness blistering performances from headliners like Hardwell, Jack Ü, Galantis, and The Chainsmokers. Last year’s event had over 45 incredible DJs gracing the stages over the course of the two-day event, and we’re excited to reunite once more and do it all again for what is sure to be the biggest one we’ve ever had!
