Tips, Tricks, and Valid Tix! Some Wicked Important Reminders!

Get ready for the best weekend you’ll have this fall as Something Wicked returns to Houston in just a few days. In preparation with the upcoming event, we wanted to remind you of some important ticket information to make sure you have a fun and carefree Wicked experience.

Tickets? You Still Have Time!

Are there some procrastinators in the house? If you haven’t bought your tickets to the festival yet, you’ve still got time! Online ticket sales will continue on through to the day of the event and day-of sales will be available at the Sam Houston Race Park box office, open 12:30 PM on Saturday, October 25th and 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 26th. And please, save yourself the hassle and make our job easier by avoiding frauds and scalpers like the plague!

Ticket Warnings

Ensure the authenticity of your tickets by buying only from our authorized ticket outlets and partners including the SomethingWicked.com website, Eventbrite.com website, the Sam Houston Race Park box office, open 12:30 PM on Saturday and 1:00 PM on Sunday, and official Something Wicked Festival street team members.

Tickets and wristbands will not be reissued under any circumstance and once your ticket is scanned, it cannot be used again. If you purchased a multi-day ticket, you will receive only one wristband for the entirety of the festival – do not remove it.

Eventbrite Mobile App

If you have a smartphone and purchased your tickets online via Eventbrite, take advantage of the Eventbrite App on both iOS and Android devices. Skip the hassle of printing and dragging your ticket around, just pull up your tickets on your phone to check into the event.

Rain or Shine

Something Wicked Festival will take place rain or shine. The acts we advertise have confirmed their appearance, however acts are subject to change without notice.

Reserve a Locker!

At Something Wicked, we’ve got your back…pack! Keep your hands free and give your back a break by reserving an on-site locker before you arrive at the event. Lockers are approximately 12″ high x 12″ wide x 18″ deep and include charging units inside for your mobile device – awesome, right?

Pick Up Your Merch!

Now that the Something Wicked online merch store is open a little early, you’ll be able to browse the full collection, make the purchase online, and then pick your items up at the show.

Grab Your Wicked Water Bottle!

We’re bringing back the free water refill stations throughout the festival grounds at Sam Houston Race Park this year so there’ll be water, water everywhere – witches, ye be warned. Something Wicked water bottles will be available for purchase at our merchandise booth and you can bring previously purchased Disco Donnie Presents and NightCulture water bottles, but they must be empty upon arrival.

Wear Your Glow Motion LED Wristband!

For this year’s event, we’ve partnered with Glow Motion to have a specially customized Something Wicked LED wristband for all you devious souls. But these aren’t like any LED wristband that you’d get at those other festivals – the Something Wicked Glow Motion wristband is DMX programmed which means your wristband will change color to the beat of the music, making you a part of the light show. Anyone who wants to light up the night can head to the Glow Motion booth on-site.

Table Service Check-in

If you decided to upgrade your Something Wicked experience with your own premium VIP table, be sure to check-in to the left of the main entrance and you and your friends will skip the line and get whisked straight to your decked-out area complete with your choice of bottles, mixers, and wicked swag bags.

Dance Responsibly at Something Wicked

Before we all meet at Sam Houston Race Park on Saturday, October 25th and Sunday, October 26th, we’ve got some helpful tips and information to make sure you and your friends stay safe and responsible at this year’s Something Wicked Festival.

Stay Hydrated

There will be a lot of dancing at this year’s event and sometimes people will get sick from overheating and dehydration. We encourage you to drink lots of water, but remember drinking too much water can be dangerous! Accidents surrounding music events have been associated with low levels of electrolytes that are lost along with water when one becomes dehydrated. Such low levels of electrolytes, especially salt, can lead to brain swelling, seizures, heart problems and even death. So be sure to alternate between water and sports drinks that will be provided for you.

Remember: we’re bringing back the free water refill stations again this year and allowing camelbaks and bota bags.

Costumes Encouraged

While we have world renowned artists pumping great music throughout the Halloween weekend, be sure to wear something comfortable, lightweight and easy to dance in. Dark colors absorb heat rays, so avoid wearing all dark clothes. You should also steer away from heavy fabrics and faux furs, always remembering that comfortable tennis shoes are the best option on the dance floor.

Find Your Buddy

Something Wicked Festival brings thousands upon thousands of amazing people from across the world, so it could be really easy to get separated from your group due to the sheer size of the event. Always keep track of where your friends are by setting up meeting points and sticking together. Look out for one another. If you and your friends have been sweating, grab some water for the group to replenish nutrients lost – you can’t live off dancing alone. We will have personnel stationed around the grounds, so be sure to ask for help if you or one of your friends needs it.

Is There a Doctor in the House?

Medical personnel will not only be accessible but ready to assist you at any time in the medical tent. From Band-Aids to aspirin, assistance is available to you should you need anything at all. Gatorade will also be made available upon request. If you are feeling unwell, seek medical attention immediately. Your health and safety is more important than waiting for the drop.

Order Your Something Wicked Merch Online and Pick Up at the Show

Now open, treat yourself to a frightfully delightful collection of tees and accessories at the Something Wicked online merch store. This year, we’re launching a new incentive so you can pick up merch at the show and save yourself a headache.

Order Online, Pick Up at the Show!

Now that the online merch store is open a little early, you’ll be able to browse the full collection, make the purchase online, and then pick your items up at the show. This devious plan ensures your favorite designs won’t be sold out and gives you more time on the dance floor. And don’t worry if you change your mind – customers who don’t pick up their order will receive a full refund. But if you want it back, you’ll have to re-order and pay for shipping.

If you want to take advantage of this amazing deal, act fast. You won’t be able to place any orders for pick-up after 11:00 AM CT / 12:00 PM ET on Friday, October 24th. When you arrive at the festival, head to the main merch tent with photo ID to pick up your order. If you have any questions, email customer service.

What’s in Stock?

The online merch store features commemorative designs screen printed on a variety of t-shits, tanks and accessories. Branded in true Wicked fashion, the merch features an angry pumpkin design, a graveyard design, a sultry dia de los muertos design and a limited edition long sleeve with Something Wicked logo. With minimal shrinkage, you’ll be able to enjoy a regular fit for years to come. Be sure to pick up a snapback and flag too!

There are a variety of styles, so we’re sure you’ll find the perfect one for you. So avoid the out of stock signs and let the world know how much fun you had this Halloween!

On Sunday, October 26th, we’re loading up on more wicked sounds with the garage-laced track selection of Tchami, but he’s not the only talent who’s closing out the night. We’ve got a special guest ready to join the party too. Wanna know who it is? There’s only one way to find out…
