The “World’s Largest Paint Party,” Life in Color is back once again for the 2014 season and Disco Donnie Presents is teaming up with Alive Entertainment to bring the mega event to Mexico this Summer. The “Unleash” Tour will make stops all across the country and will be giving six cities the chance to be a part in the world-renowned neon madness. Kicking off on Friday, June 27th in Guadalajara, get ready to escape reality and go hard in the paint.

A few weeks ago, we announced a competition that would put one lucky DJ would be the warm up DJ for the world-renowned Life In Color: Rebirth Tour in New Braunfels, Texas. Featuring Fedde Le Grand and David Solano at Whitewater Amphitheater, opening up for the famous event could be the career break of a life time.

Now that entries for the competition are now closed, we sorted through all the mixes uploaded from producers and DJs of the region and we have narrowed it down to the top five artists. As promised, we’re putting you all in the driver’s seat of choosing who will play at the infamous event on Saturday, August 31st. Listen to the hour-long mixes and vote for your favorite. Voting ends Sunday August 25th at midnight. The winner announced Monday August 26th.

So, do you think you have what it takes to open up for the famous event? We aren’t in search of any particular sound or style, any talented artist is welcome to enter. We just want to hear what you can do.

What We Need You To Do:

1. Submit your best 35 minute mix.
2. Your mix can contain original, non-original, remixed/re-worked, or even mashed up material. Basically anything that encompasses and expresses what makes you, you, as an artist. Be creative, and be you.
3. Fill out the entire form below, including links to your mix and social media profiles allowing us to get a feel for your artist profile.
4. Submit your entry before the Contest Deadline on August 5th, 2013. No entries will count after this point.

What You Need To Know:

1. Contest is only open to DJ’s and producers in the Austin, San Antonio, and San Marcos region.
2. Preliminary mixes will be judged by a panel of established Texas DJ’s & producers the week following the submission deadline, choosing the top 5 best mixes.
3. The Top 5 submissions selected will advance to the final stage, with a public voting by YOU, the artists & fans for one week.
4. The final 5 are encouraged to share & promote their mix amongst everyone. Remember the most votes win, so share away!
