Limited parking will be available on a first come first serve basis at 1212 Jackson St. Dallas, TX 75202. We strongly encourage rideshare. The designated rideshare pin locations are 1311 Wood St. Dallas, TX 75202 and 1500 Jackson St. Dallas, TX 75201.

Event Safety Summary

AT&T Discovery District is implementing the following measures to support public safety and controlled access during event operations, in coordination with the City of Dallas and Dallas Police Department.

Access Control and Screening

• Entry points will be monitored by trained event security personnel.
• All bags will be subject to inspection prior to entry.
• Non clear bags may be subject to additional inspection at designated entry points.
• Entry points will include magnetometer screening equipment.
• Guests will walk through the magnetometer as part of the entry process.
• Additional screening may be conducted using handheld screening devices by event security personnel as needed.
• Prohibited items will be denied entry or removed from the event area.
• Policies will be communicated via signage and event staff.

Food and Beverage Service Controls

• Outside food and beverages will not be permitted within the event area.
• Beverages will be served in non breakable disposable cups.
• No glassware or aluminum cans will be used in the general area.
• Plastic cutlery only will be provided.
• Food service will utilize disposable serviceware.

Bag Policy

• Bag size and style restrictions will be enforced during event operations.
• Approved bags include clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags not exceeding 12″ x 6″ x 12″.
• Approved bags include small clutch purses not exceeding 4.5″ x 6.5″.
• Approved bags include one gallon clear re sealable plastic storage bags.

Restricted Items

The following items are prohibited within the event perimeter:

Weapons and Hazardous Items

• Firearms or weapons of any kind.
• Ammunition.
• Knives or sharp objects.
• Explosives or fireworks.
• Chemical agents or self-defense devices.
• Containers and Substances.
• Glass containers.
• Water bottles of any kind.

Bags and Carried Items

• Backpacks, Large purses, Cinch Bag.
• Coolers.
• Luggage.
• Camera bags, Computer bags.
• Mobility and Seating Items.
• Chairs of any kind.
• Seat cushions.
• Strollers.

Technology and Devices

• Drones or unmanned aerial devices.
• Laser pointers.
• Unauthorized camera equipment.

General Safety Authority

• Any item deemed dangerous or disruptive to public safety by event security or authorities having jurisdiction.
• Medically necessary items will be permitted following inspection at a designated entry point.

These measures are intended to proactively support public safety minimize potential hazards and align with City of Dallas and Dallas Police Department event safety expectations.

Acceptable IDs

• Any US government-issued driver’s license or ID card containing a photograph and date of birth.
• US or foreign government-issued passport containing a photograph and date of birth.
• Foreign government-issued driver’s license/ID with color photocopy of passport (Not valid for 21+ wristband. To purchase alcohol or enter VIP areas, a physical passport or US ID will be required.).
• DMV Paper ID (a photo on the Paper ID is required). Please note, at the discretion of security, a 2nd form of ID, such as a passport or government-issued ID, may be required to verify age.

Unacceptable IDs

• Expired Identification Card.
• School Identification Card.
• License/Identification Card issued in countries other than the U.S. or Canada.
• Birth Certificate.
• Social Security Card.
• Federal Immigration Card.
• Voter Registration Card.
• Copies of any acceptable forms of identification.
