Arty

Finding that perfect sweet spot between house and trance, Arty’s formidable sound is one of dance music’s most recognizable and sought-after.

Born in Russia and growing up amidst its transition from the Soviet Union, Arty studied at music school until the age of 14, gaining invaluable training and knowledge — ultimately realizing that the traditional route was not for him. A love of video games and electronics led onto a curiosity for production equipment, and before long he was experimenting with sequencers while cutting his teeth on the sounds of The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers and The Crystal Method.

He began sending demos to labels in 2009, and landed his first release on the UK’s Enhanced Progressive that same year. The quality of his productions belied his inexperience, and his prodigious talent rapidly became in high demand throughout the industry. Above & Beyond snapped up ‘Rush’ in 2010 for his first release on their acclaimed Anjunabeats label, with Axwell’s Axtone releasing ‘Trio’ alongside Matisse & Sadko in 2011. In just two years, he had landed releases on his two favourite labels, setting the tone for his impressive rise through the scene.

He has since released huge tracks on the likes of Armind, Spinnin’, Big Beat, Ministry of Sound and Insomniac, crafting immensely popular remixes for OneRepublic, London Grammar, Above & Beyond, Halsey, Porter Robinson and Years & Years along the way. Moving to Los Angeles in 2012, he signed with Interscope Records — releasing his biggest track ‘Up All Night’ as his first venture with them and racking up over 20m plays online in the process.

It’s his 2015 debut album ‘Glorious’ that has really marked him out as an artist with vast potential and ambition, mixing his trademark big room anthems with stunning downtempo electronica, nods to classic trance, French electro and superb songwriting courtesy of some of the industry’s most acclaimed names. Lead singles ‘Stronger’ and ‘Glorious’ both showed his impressive ability to translate the euphoria of his club-focused productions to a pop/radio format, and the album has gone even further to demonstrate his sophistication. Praise for his first long-player has come from everyone from Your EDM to Complex.

His DJ career began at the age of 21, with his first major gig coming 2011 alongside Armin Van Buuren as part of his A State Of Trance Episode 500 tour at the expansive Brabanthallen in Amsterdam. Since then, he’s played everywhere that’s anywhere — laying waste to the likes of EDC, Tomorrowland, Ushuaïa, XS Encore Las Vegas, Amnesia Ibiza and Creamfields to name just a few. He also mixed BBC Radio 1’s prestigious Essential Mix in 2012, commonly referred to as the world’s biggest mix show. Taking a more eclectic approach to his sound than some of his peers, his sets mix up house, trance, progressive and electro into one scintillating blend.

Arty’s ambition to cover new ground continues with the upcoming launch of his own channel on Twitch — the Amazon-owned live streaming platform for gamers — while his relaunched Together FM show will air on the US’ huge SIRIUS XM satellite radio network and Fun Radio in France. Expect more innovation to come, an increasingly diverse palette of sounds — and of course, a truckload more of his much-loved stadium-sized creations.

Luminox’s live set is packed with shock value and is sure to keep crowds bouncing. This young, versatile producer has no intentions of slowing down and will continue to challenge and defy musical expectations.

Dyro

Dyro’s journey to the upper ranks of the electronic music scenes marks him out amongst his peers as one of the most talented artists to have emerged from the new generation of Dutch house artists currently taking over the industry. Recently crowned #27 in the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll 2014, the last twelve months has seen this enigmatic young DJ come of age as he continues to take the world by storm!

Known for driving bass lines, enchanting melodies and highly charged drops, he has seamlessly made the transition from bedroom musician to renowned international DJ/Producer. Dyro has surpassed all expectations, previously tipped by the likes of World #1 DJ Hardwell, Laidback Luke, and Dada Life as their ‘Breakthrough Artist of 2012′ and claiming the highest new entry slot in the 2013 Top 100 poll at #30. His career has been on a constant upward trajectory since dropping his seminal first releases “Daftastic’ dropped on Hardwell’s Revealed recording’s in 2011.

Looking back over the past 12 months, Dyro’s tour schedule is a dot-to-dot of some of the world’s biggest and best festivals and clubs. From headline appearances at clubs such as LIV in Miami, Ministry of Sound in London to his residency at The Light in Las Vegas and Space in Ibiza, he has also earned mainstage slots at star-studded festivals that include Dance Valley, New York’s Electric Zoo, TomorrowWorld, Spring Awakening Music Festival in Chicago, Wish Outdoor in the Netherlands, Digital Dreams in Toronto, Creamfields in the UK and EDC Las Vegas for a infamous three-way back to back session with Hardwell and Dannic. Dyro’s taken his music around the world promoting his unique electro influenced, progressive tinged big-room sound.

His fan base in North America continues to multiply in tandem with his ever presence on the biggest festival line-ups over the past 12 months. Blowing away fans throughout the year, Dyro kicked off 2014 with an epic solo tour to support the release of his track ‘Black Smoke.’ Not one to rest or take a break, Dyro was immediately back crunching the miles as he joined the epic Future Music Festival tour across Australia, proving his popularity in both hemispheres ahead of returning to the US for a career defining Ultra performance. It was at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival that, after a rainstorm of biblical proportions, Dannic and Hardwell joined Dyro on stage for an impromptu three-way B2B2B set that captured the raw energy that made the subsequent Revealed Recordings North American Bus Tour, undertaken by these three artists, such a hit with fans. Coupled with sensational performances at Hardwell’s own “Hardwell Presents Revealed” party at Mansion and his own party ‘Radical’, which he hosted alongside Dannic, the name being taken from their co- production ‘Radical’ that dropped in early June. Managing to fit in an epic B2B session with Dannic for the Mixmag Mix lab series, he has staked a claim in the US this year which is unrivalled by many of his contemporaries. Having just kicked off his colossal co-tour 30 date ‘X-Tour’ with Bassjackers this month, his touring schedule isn’t going to relent any time soon.

Having set himself apart with early releases such as ‘Top Of The World’, his collaboration with Bassjackers, ‘Grid,’ ‘Leprechauns & Unicorns’ and the massive ‘Never Say Goodbye,’ co-produced with Hardwell, all of which dominated the Beatport charts and earned him a sizzling reputation as a studio producer on the ascent to greatness. This years releases have been equally well received. ‘Calling Out,’ his epic vocal track featuring Ryder, that exploded into the Beatport Top 10 and could be heard ringing out in main stage DJ sets all year, ‘Sounds Like,’ a high octane dance floor destroyer and his eagerly anticipated co- production with Dannic, ‘Radical’ all became firm fan favourites, catapulting his popularity to the next level.

Always looking forward, this summer saw the launch of his own record label ‘Wolv,’ created as a platform to release his own music and to champion up and coming artists. Its first release ‘Wolv,’ was one of the big festival season anthems that drew a lot of influence form Acid House, a theme prevalent of the second release, Dyros remix of ‘Bali Bandits — Welcome.” The follow up track Against All Odds, featuring the vocal styling’s of famed UK hype man, Dynamite MC, showed both Dyro’s dexterity as a producer as well as his appreciation of musical stylings outside of his immediate field and the ability to interweave these with his own ideas. An ethos that has helped him create and refine a sound so distinctive, that walking into a club anywhere in the world, a Dyro track is instantly recognizable. With further release scheduled over the coming months and into 2015, fans can expect big things to come from this fledgling label.

With his YouTube series ‘Dyro’s Diaries’, reaching an ever-growing audience, each episode giving his fans unprecedented access into the man behind the beats and his ‘Daftastic’ radio show reaching around the globe, his popularity worldwide shows no sign of abating, as does his passion for the music he loves. At this stage it is no longer surprising that Dyro headlines sold out shows the world over and now boasts a back catalogue overflowing with quality. As Hardwell put it best, Dyro is “one of the most talented producers I have worked with and has his whole career ahead of him.”

Figure

Josh Gard has had a long history in music. Just a few short years ago he donned the name Figure and began making electro house, but has since become a regular name in all realms of electronic and dance. Scoring positions among the charts may have gotten him recognition, but a hefty amount of praise has been raining down on him lately as some of the leading artists in electronic music have valued his live performance skills as some of the best in the business.

In 2011, his Monsters of Drumstep series married his love of horror with his immense production skills to become the soundtrack for the Halloween season. Figure created his own imprint, DOOM Music to house the Monsters series which has now become an annual release. In 2013 FIGURE’s monsters series became the official soundtrack to Universal Studio’s Hollywood Horror Nights theme park.

Figure recently signed with OWSLA to release “Horns of the Apocalypse”. Horns of the Apocalypse showcases FIGURE’S evolving sound and take on 4/4 dance music with his lead single Eagle. War Call & Beast Mode will remind fans of FIGURE’S signature sound. The EP features DEL The Funky Homosapien (Deltron 3030, Gorillaz, Hieroglyphics) Mr Lif (Definitive Jux) & Nick Thayer (Owsla).

“The direction and influence for the production came from being on tour all of last year and a good chunk of of 2013 so far. The entire EP was written on the road but mastered at my home studio in Indiana using my Neve Racks and Abelton. I’m really looking forward to seeing my fans on tour this fall and hope they all love this release as much as I do.” – FIGURE

October 2013 saw the return of FIGURE’s highly acclaimed Monster’s series, with the release of Monsters Volume 4. Monster’s vol. 4 quickly shot up the iTunes/Beatport worldwide charts with key tracks like Are You Afraid Of The Dark ft. Lexi Norton, Living Dead & The Center of Hell ft/ Helicopter Showdown. All in all the album takes listeners on a 13 song trip through the dark world of FIGURE’s monsters, and showcases another side of Josh Gard’s sound design that ties the LP together with dark interludes like Symphony of the Damned & Death’s Gospel.

When he’s not recording in his hometown studios in rural Indiana, Gard is touring worldwide, with packed tents at festivals like EDC, SnowGlobe, Starscape, The Bounce, Creamfields Australia, Tomorrow World, Global Dance, and Belgium’s Dour. This Fall he will be on tour again across the US for the “All Black Everything Tour”, a co-headline tour with his good friend Crizzly which will span 30+ dates and go from coast to coast.

Quintino

Quintino started DJ-ing at the age of 15 in Den Helder. Three years later Laidback Luke discovered and enabled him to release his first tracks ‘Girls’, ‘Wooker’ and ‘SupersoniQ’. Quintino’s big breakthrough came when he remixed Cidinho & Doca’s track ‘Rap Das Armas’. The remix was released in 2009 and became a massive worldwide club hit. The song hit #1 on the Dutch sales- and airplay charts, reaching over 10 million Youtube views.

Quintino went on to produce his next major chart hit ‘Heaven’, for which he teamed up with soul singer and DJ Mitch Crown. It became one of the most played radio records in 2009 and paved the way for his second successful collaboration with Crown — ‘You Can’t Deny’.

In 2010 Quintino founded his own label SupersoniQ Records, which released many superior club tracks such as ‘Fire’ (Quintino & The Partysquad), ‘Drop The Beat’ & ‘Sustain’ (Quintino) and the club banger ‘I Feel’.

With fully booked tours, performing in countries like Holland, Belgium, Spain, Bulgaria and Greece, his schedule includes more than 300 shows per year. One of his highlights in 2011 was his live onstage Radio 538 performance in front of 300.000 people during Queensday in Amsterdam where he premiered the club banger he produced together with Afrojack, just before it hit the Beatport top 10 Main Chart.

In 2012, things really exploded with the release of ‘Epic’, his track with Sandro Silva, that topped the Dutch Top 40 Charts and went platinum in both Holland and gold in Belgium. He kept up the pace after the massive success of ‘Epic’ and continued with tracks for Musical Freedom and Wall Recordings including ‘We Gonna Rock’ on Tiesto’s label and “The One and Only’ on Afrojack’s Imprint. In June 2012 his new collaboration with MOTI, ‘Circuits’, was chosen as Radio 538′s Dance Smash.

The autumn of 2012 saw Quintino do two consecutive back-to-back- tours — one supporting Tiesto, the other supporting Afrojack. This spring saw the launch of ‘World In Your Hands’, which is the result of the collaboration between Quintino and rising talent Alvaro, after their tour together with fellow Dutchman Tiesto.

The world in his hands, indeed!

Tritonal

Tritonal capped off an outstanding 2015 with the January 2016 release of “Blackout” — the long coveted but previously unavailable single featuring Steph Jones’ delicate vocals and a pop twist on the duo’s melodic sound. “Blackout” quickly became Tritonal’s fastest-selling and -streaming single to date, the latest in a long line of hits for Austin, Texas songwriters and producers Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed.

In the previous year, Tritonal surpassed 53 million streams in aggregate on Spotify, over 10 million of that attributable to the Chainsmokers collaboration, “Until You Were Gone”. As of early 2016, the tour’s anthem, “Untouchable”, has been streamed over 19 million times.

Formed in 2008, Tritonal spent their early days on premium imprints like Anjunabeats, before eventually landing at Will Holland’s Enhanced Music, which Cisneros and Reed came to co-own. Key moments on Enhanced include: “We Belong”, a pivotal 2009 Ferry Corsten rework; the hit-laden 2011 debut album, Piercing the Quiet; and the acclaimed 2013-2014 Metamorphic EP trilogy featuring euphoric favorites “Follow Me Home” and “Now or Never”. “Now or Never” cracked the Top Five on Billboard’s Airplay Dance chart, a placement recaptured by follow-ups, “Anchor”,”Colors”, and “Untouchable”. In a first for the duo, “Now Or Never” also became a sports anthem for CBS’s Thursday Night NFL broadcasts in 2015, introducing the duo to millions of new fans weekly.

Tritonal’s evolution and success prove that compelling songwriting, innovative production, and exuberant performances resonate with music lovers of all kinds, from underground purists to stadium fanatics.
