Something Wicked Pumpkin Patch Contest
Attention Something Wicked Fans! Send us photos of your Something Wicked inspired pumpkins. We’re on the lookout for pumpkins inspired by the artists, electronic music or the culture. The most decorative, scariest, funniest or craziest pumpkin designs can win you one of three great prizes!
Contest Rules
- Jack-o-lantern must be incorporate some element of EDM culture or the Something Wicked (i.e. artists, DJ gear, musical elements, etc)
- To enter, send us a photo of your best-carved pumpkin. Submit the photo to pumpkins@somethingwickedfestival.com, or tweet a photo to us at (@SmthngWicked). We’ll post all the photos to our Facebook. Please include contact information (including phone number) with each entry.
- Photos of the pumpkins must be submitted online by Oct. 25th, 2012.
- Pumpkins must be lit with glow sticks or colored light equivalent.
- Bring your carved pumpkin to Something Wicked! Pumpkin must be present at Pumpkin Patch by 6pm.
- Grand prize judging and other winners announced during festival.
Prizes
- One grand-prize winner will receive an exclusive meet and greet with Zedd during Something Wicked.
- Second place winner will receive two complimentary backstage passes to Something Wicked.
- Third place winner will receive a Something Wicked “Party Pack,” which includes festival merchandise.

Tomorrow we make dance music history in Portland, Oregon! Disco Donnie Presents and Red Cube present the city’s largest annual electronic music event Moonlight Masquerade. Featuring two massive stages with some of the world’s favorite artists, your initial lineup is going to include: The Poseidon Tour featuring Porter Robinson & Zedd, Morgan Page,Beltek, Nick Thayer, Adventure Club, Krewella, Marty Party, Break Science, and Curtis B. With local support from Hyperfunk, James Renegade, DJ Offline, Most Custom, and Jaden.

Kaskade to headline Something Wicked!
Disco Donnie Presents and NightCulture, Inc. have confirmed electronic dance music artist Kaskade will headline Something Wicked Electronic Music Festival set to take place Halloween weekend, Saturday, Oct. 27 at Sam Houston Race Park in Houston.
Having just returned from the biggest North American Tour of his career, Kaskade has recently moved back into the studio to start recording new music but will enthusiastically take time away for Disco Donnie to headline this unique new event.
“I heard from Disco Donnie that they were doing a Halloween special and looking for a headliner,” said Kaskade. “I was more than happy to get back on the road again and I am excited to headline such a unique show. Halloween is a fun time of year and I’m sure it will make this event particularly fun.”
The Halloween themed electronic music festival will also feature global heavy weight electronic acts Nero (dj set), Flux Pavilion and Zedd, as well as other international performers such as Danny Avila, Deorro, Jack Beats, Killsonik, Le Castle Vania, Modestep, Tritonal, tyDi, W&W, and Zomboy.
Sam Houston Race Park, in addition to a regular schedule of horse racing, has also played host to Vans Warped Tour, Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival, Cirque Du Soleil as well as artists such as Blue October and Ghostland Observatory. Something Wicked will be the first all day electronic dance music festival to take place at the venue.
