blog day after weekend warriors: anna lunoe, apster, billy the kit

Returning to Figali Plaza in Panamá City this coming January 10-12th, The Day After Festival is right around the corner. We’ve still got some time to kill before our tropical getaway, so before we get down, here are three mixes from our Day After Festival roster to get you pumped for the upcoming event.

Tickets are on sale now, buy your tickets today!

Billy The Kit presents: Rockin’ N’ Ravin’ #03

Dutch talent Billy The Kit treats fans to an action packed radio show broadcasted every third friday of the month on SLAM!FM. For the third episode, Billy shows off what he does best as master of the mashup and edits. We loved “Maximal Encore Animals” where Billy throws Tiësto, Jay Z, Linkin Park, and Martin Garrix together for one massive track.

Apster b2b Bassjackers at Tomorrowland 2013

This year’s Tomorrowland brought in more talents than most people could keep track of. Among those talents was Day After Festival artist Apster who took the stage with Bassjackers for a ridiculous back-to-back hour set. You’ll get a heavy dose of tracks from other Day After Festivals artists like Hardwell, Dyro, and Martin Garrix but the last acappella definitely put a smile on our face.

Anna Lunoe – Solé Fixtape Vol. 18

Every month, Los Angeles based company Solé Bicycles offers listeners one of their signature Fixtapes from an underground talent in the music industry. Aussie Day After Festival artist Anna Lunoe lent her talents to the series and it’s already one of our favorite mixes. Enjoy this mix while you’re chilling out or warming up.

“To me this mix is the soundtrack of a kind of happy/sad end of summer sunday. Some of these songs are new and some are very old. Thank you for listening and I hope that you enjoy.”
