Refuel Your Diabolical Spirits With Something Wicked
In between bone-chilling sets on the dance floor, scope out Something Wicked‘s food and beverage vendors to refuel your diabolical spirits. This year at Sam Houston Race Park we will host a wide array of refreshments to satisfy your carnal cravings.
Chilling Drinks
There’s Something Wicked for everyone within arm’s reach, and not just the lineup of world-renowned talent. From Fresh ‘N Juicy serving tasty fruit and smoothies; to a specialty non-alcoholic bar offering an enticing selection of Halloween themed drinks at the Witch’s Brew, hunting down a wicked refreshment should be easy to do. Patrons 21 and older will find a selection of mixed drinks and cold beer served at the cash bars on site as well.
Diabolical Bites
Feed your devilish side at an assortment of booths stationed en route between stages. Choose from hand-tossed pizza at Leimon’s Pizzeria, gourmet hot dogs at Top Dog Gourmet Hot Dogs, or maybe an Italian sausage or steak sandwich from Caroll’s Catering. Be sure to grab a tasty dessert at Grandma’s Cheesecake, or veggie conscious coastal cuisine at Tica’s Tacos. Whichever you decide on, one thing’s certain – our food vendors have got you covered. Plus, Houston’s favorite food truck, The Waffle Bus, will be onsite serving their signature sweet and savory delights. Delish!

Dance Responsibly at Something Wicked
Before we all meet at Sam Houston Race Park on Saturday, October 25th and Sunday, October 26th, we’ve got some helpful tips and information to make sure you and your friends stay safe and responsible at this year’s Something Wicked Festival.
Stay Hydrated
There will be a lot of dancing at this year’s event and sometimes people will get sick from overheating and dehydration. We encourage you to drink lots of water, but remember drinking too much water can be dangerous! Accidents surrounding music events have been associated with low levels of electrolytes that are lost along with water when one becomes dehydrated. Such low levels of electrolytes, especially salt, can lead to brain swelling, seizures, heart problems and even death. So be sure to alternate between water and sports drinks that will be provided for you.
Remember: we’re bringing back the free water refill stations again this year and allowing camelbaks and bota bags.
Costumes Encouraged
While we have world renowned artists pumping great music throughout the Halloween weekend, be sure to wear something comfortable, lightweight and easy to dance in. Dark colors absorb heat rays, so avoid wearing all dark clothes. You should also steer away from heavy fabrics and faux furs, always remembering that comfortable tennis shoes are the best option on the dance floor.
Find Your Buddy
Something Wicked Festival brings thousands upon thousands of amazing people from across the world, so it could be really easy to get separated from your group due to the sheer size of the event. Always keep track of where your friends are by setting up meeting points and sticking together. Look out for one another. If you and your friends have been sweating, grab some water for the group to replenish nutrients lost – you can’t live off dancing alone. We will have personnel stationed around the grounds, so be sure to ask for help if you or one of your friends needs it.
Is There a Doctor in the House?
Medical personnel will not only be accessible but ready to assist you at any time in the medical tent. From Band-Aids to aspirin, assistance is available to you should you need anything at all. Gatorade will also be made available upon request. If you are feeling unwell, seek medical attention immediately. Your health and safety is more important than waiting for the drop.
Order Your Something Wicked Merch Online and Pick Up at the Show
Now open, treat yourself to a frightfully delightful collection of tees and accessories at the Something Wicked online merch store. This year, we’re launching a new incentive so you can pick up merch at the show and save yourself a headache.
Order Online, Pick Up at the Show!
Now that the online merch store is open a little early, you’ll be able to browse the full collection, make the purchase online, and then pick your items up at the show. This devious plan ensures your favorite designs won’t be sold out and gives you more time on the dance floor. And don’t worry if you change your mind – customers who don’t pick up their order will receive a full refund. But if you want it back, you’ll have to re-order and pay for shipping.
If you want to take advantage of this amazing deal, act fast. You won’t be able to place any orders for pick-up after 11:00 AM CT / 12:00 PM ET on Friday, October 24th. When you arrive at the festival, head to the main merch tent with photo ID to pick up your order. If you have any questions, email customer service.
What’s in Stock?
The online merch store features commemorative designs screen printed on a variety of t-shits, tanks and accessories. Branded in true Wicked fashion, the merch features an angry pumpkin design, a graveyard design, a sultry dia de los muertos design and a limited edition long sleeve with Something Wicked logo. With minimal shrinkage, you’ll be able to enjoy a regular fit for years to come. Be sure to pick up a snapback and flag too!
There are a variety of styles, so we’re sure you’ll find the perfect one for you. So avoid the out of stock signs and let the world know how much fun you had this Halloween!
Tchami to Headline Your Official Something Wicked Sunday Afterparty
The fun isn’t over when the gates close at Sam Houston Race Park because after the party is the afterparty – and after the last night of Something Wicked, we’re heading to Stereo Live to keep the party going with the official Something Wicked Afterparty.
On Sunday, October 26th, we’re loading up on more wicked sounds with the garage-laced track selection of Tchami, but he’s not the only talent who’s closing out the night. We’ve got a special guest ready to join the party too. Wanna know who it is? There’s only one way to find out…
