Preview the Magic, Love, and Fun of the Ultimate Music Experience

Thousands of spring breakers will descend along the beautiful shores of South Padre Island for the return of the Ultimate Music Experience to Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark. Disco Donnie Presents and Global Groove Events are teaming up once again to bring you the fifth edition of the #1 destination Spring Break event on March 19-21, 2015.

Join us on the UME dance floors to celebrate our week of freedom from work and school for the vacation of a lifetime as our nights are soundtracked by top-tier headliners from every corner of the globe. Get 'Caked Up' With Disco Donnie Presents This Winter

When Oscar Wylde and Vegas Banger first got together under the Caked Up moniker, they caught the attention of the dance music world nearly overnight with trapped out bootlegs of radio hits that most producers would probably avoid.

First bursting onto the scene in 2013 with a caked up edit of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball,” the talents followed the buzz with crazy, energetic versions of Lorde’s “Royals”, Lady Gaga’s “Applause,” and Kendrick Lamar’s “M.A.A.D. City.” Winning over the internet with free downloads, selfies, and Vines, they baking duo continued to build their reputation with some banging originals like “Ass Down Twerk” and “Fux Wit It.”

This year, the boys continue to pick up speed with commissioned remixes for The Chainsmokers, A-Trak, and Flosstradamus on respect imprints like Fool’s Gold, Ultra Music, and Dim Mak. Making their debut on Diplo’s Mad Decent with the overtly sexy, dirty drip of “Thirsty,” a collaboration with Meaux Green, the duo is still reveling in the success of their most recent release “Bang Your Head” on Buygore Records.

Still cooking up some tasty treats in the studio, want to know what the icing on the cake is? They’re coming to a city near you.

Grab the Crew - Here Comes the Mad Zoo on the 'Winter Roadshow' With Mat Zo and Disco Donnie Presents

The output from British talent Mat Zo has worn many hats over the span of his career including drum and bass, trance, progressive, and electro, but fans know that when it comes to this genre-bending artist, to expect the unexpected. Now with eight years of experience under his belt, Mat Zo is expanding his anything goes studio mentality as label owner of his Mad Zoo imprint. With a just cause for celebration, for the first time, Mat Zo and talents from the Mad Zoo camp are about to embark on stacked tour across the United States on the Mad Zoo Winter Roadshow Tour.

With releases dating back to 2006, you’d be hard-pressed to find a dance music fan who hasn’t heard of the name Mat Zo. Crafting dance floor hits like “Rebound” with Arty, “Superman,” and “Bipolar,” this past year, Mat unlocked another career milestone with the much-anticipated release of his debut artist album Damage Control.

Not one to sit idly twiddling his thumbs, Mat has been laying the ground work for Mad Zoo for a few years now. “I’ve always wanted a quicker outlet for my music, so awhile ago I decided to release some of my music for free on Soundcloud,” Mat explains. “The only problem with this is if I want to license the track out, or even put the track on YouTube, there has to be a label structure around it. The plans for Mad Zoo had been underway for years, so I decided to use the venture as a new way for me to release music quickly, yet still have infrastructure around it.”

Since the label’s launch, we’ve been groovin’ to releases like “Get Down 2 Get Up” with The Knocks and “Left To Right,” but in conjunction with the forthcoming tour in November, the Mad Zoo camp is unleashing “Ruffneck Bad Boy.” Sure to fill the dance floor with moving its ragga-inspired bass stabs, we’re sure you’ll hear “Ruffneck Bad Boy” when Mat Zo comes to your city for Winter Roadshow this November and December.

We're Sending a Special Thank You Shout-Out to the People who Made Something Wicked Happen

There were many performances that we enjoyed this past weekend at Something Wicked, but not every one of them took place on stage.

Behind the scenes of every major event is a network of people working hard to make it all possible. Disco Donnie Presents and NightCulture would like to send our “network” a special thank you shout out: the artists and performers who came ready to dazzle audiences in their fully decked-out Halloween outfits; the event staff who gave up their weekend to give a hand wherever it was needed; the rows of delicious food vendors who kept our stomachs full and thirsts quenched; the Sam Houston Race Park staff and security who made sure all our ghouls and goblins stayed safe; and the city of Houston, the Houston Police Department, and the Houston Fire Department for dancing with us another year and honoring your commitment to protect and serve.

It doesn’t matter how big or how small, everyone’s assistance helped make this year’s Something Wicked the biggest edition yet – and it went off without a hitch!

Thanks again for everything – We’ll see you next year!
