Local Restaurants and Bars

Coconuts

This bar and grill is located right on the bay and is said to host the best sunsets. With great food and specialized tropical drinks, what more could you ask for? If you’re going with a hungry group, keep in mind the kitchen closes at 8:00 PM. Local tip: Try the Lucky Charm.

Louie’s Local Bar

This local hotspot, open all year round, includes a restaurant that serves food until 11:00 PM is equipped with karaoke and live bands. Local tip: Try the Charlie Cherry.

Boomerang Billy’s Beach Club

Boomerang Billy’s is a popular beach bar right on the Surf Circle beach access. Offering a heated pool, volleyball courts, live music, food, and a great atmosphere, this place is often called an island tradition. Local tip: Peak time attendance for locals is Sunday afternoon, where they host a sand castle building competition.

Dolphin Cove Oyster Bar

Having been in business since 1989, Coastal Living Magazine once called this waterfront restaurant one of the top seafood dives in the United States. Local tip: You can watch the dolphins from the sun deck.
