Magnetic Music Festival 2013 Trailer Released!

Since this is the inaugural year of Magnetic Music Festival, some of you may have some questions on what you might expect. Well you’re in luck, because today you can preview the what’s in store for the festival’s debut in Atlanta, GA. Take a peek at what you can expect when you come to KSU Sports Recreation & Park and dance with Disco Donnie Presents and Liquified on Saturday, April 20, 2013. With Flux Pavilion, Dash Berlin, Zeds Dead, Markus Schulz, Adventure Club, Cazzette, Flosstradamus, Funtcase leading the lineup, there is definitely a little something for everyone at Magnetic Music Festival this year!

Announcing the Meltdown Music Festival 2013 Lineup!

In January, we announced the Meltdown Music Festival’s return to at the QuikTrip Park in Grand Prairie, TX. Last year, thousands of you from around the country gathered around our many stages to celebrate “unity through music.” This year, we celebrate that “we are all together” as Disco Donnie Presents, Prototype Industries and Full Access Events join together to bring another edition of the Meltdown Music Festival on April 27th 2013. Though the tickets are already on sale, many of you have already committed to the first tier of ticket pricing before the lineup was even announced! Well, the wait is finally over! Disco Donnie Presents and Alive Entertainment present the Alive Music Festival Tour in Mexico!

A one-of-a-kind fiesta is brewing for dance music fans south of the border. Disco Donnie Presents and our Mexico-based friends Alive Entertainment, are teaming up to create a sure-fire recipe for dancefloor annihilation. Starting Thursday, March 28th until Sunday, April 7th you can enjoy an electrifying lineup of international talents Chuckie, Nervo, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike as they make their way through the Monterrey, Chihuahua, Cancun, Mexico City, and Guadalajara. Announcing the Launch of the Sunset Music Festival Website!

Today, we see the launch of a new interactive website for the return of Tampa’s premier dance music event, Sunset Music Festival 2013. The website features all that you need to keep up with everything SMF related. The easy to navigate page spotlights areas where you can purchase tickets, view updates and material on the lineup, information on the festival along with frequently asked questions, map of Raymond James Stadium, and ways to contact the festival.

AWOL Snow: Festival Guide with Schedule and Set Times!

We’ve been singing the first lyric from John Denver’s “Leaving on a Jet Plane” all morning, “All my bags are packed I’m ready to go…” And we hope to get the song stuck in your head too, as you make the final preparations for your impending vacation with Disco Donnie Presents and the other “lifers,” for AWOL Snow 2013. AWOL Snow: Rebecca & Fiona Artist Profile

“Swoop… swoop… swoop…” You hear that? That’s the sound of “lifers” skiing in just 4 days, in Whistler, Canada. Are you ready for Another Way of Life: Snow? We hope you’re as excited as we are. Leading us into the week of artist profiles, are the Swedish Grammy-winning female duo Rebecca & Fiona. Though their first single was released, not even three years ago, the Scandinavian starlets have quickly sky-rocketed to international stardom.

When their debut single, “Luminary Ones,” became one of the most played songs on Sweden’s national radio station, P3, it should’ve been the first clue that the duo were destined for success. In 2011, the ladies played over 100 shows around the world alongside the likes of Tiësto, Kaskade, Axwell and Steve Angello, just to name a few. Year 2011 became an even bigger year for Rebecca & Fiona when they released their double-platinum selling single, “Bullets” along with putting out their debut album, I Love You, Man, which went straight gold in Sweden. If that weren’t enough, the pair created “Turn It Down,” a hit collaboration with producing DJ, Kaskade. The girls finished out 2012 with a bang, finishing their first ever US tour as well as receiving the award for Best Electronic/Dance Act at the Swedish Grammy Awards.

As we enter 2013, Rebecca & Fiona have locked themselves in their L.A. studio and are hard at work on a brand new album. The first single from the LP is high-energy crossover anthem, “Taken Over” a collaboration between fellow countryman, Linus Eklöw, better known as, Style of Eye. We’re glad the ladies have agreed to come out of hiding to go on vacation with us for another year of A.W.O.L.

Disco Donnie Presents Brings Markus Schulz to You!

Having recently been nominated for five International Dance Music Awards and been voted “Best American DJ,” it’s east to see that German trance producer Markus Schulz shows no signs of slowing down. For the past decade, Markus has crafted and fine-tuned his multiple progressive, trance and house music identities. His cheekily fan-coined nickname “unicorn slayer,” denotes his signature hard-driving productions that eviscerate the cheesy, fluffy productions of his peers–which is probably why his famous open-to-close sets have sold out in venues around the world.

Schulz’s output in the music industry doesn’t stop there. His weekly radio show, the Global DJ Broadcast, is now in its sixth year and has become a cornerstone to the constantly growing assemblage of trance and progressive fans. His seven year old imprint, Coldharbour Recordings, is not only one of the most respected trace and progressive labels, but it is also responsible for launching the careers of Marcus Schössow, tyDi, and Glenn Morrison. And his career as a performer is equally as impressive as Markus can proudly state that he is a regular fixture in the world’s biggest and most famous clubs, arenas and festivals. That list of venues that he has performed at is about to get some additions, as Disco Donnie Presents is excited to bring international producing DJ, Markus Schulz to a city near you!

Meltdown Music Festival Set to Announce Lineup on Thursday, February 28th!

Prototype Industries, Full Access, and Disco Donnie Presents are proud to release the eagerly-anticipated 2013 edition of Meltdown Music Festival line up this Thursday at 12:00 PM Noon Central!

Boomerang Billy’s is a popular beach bar right on the Surf Circle beach access. Offering a heated pool, volleyball courts, live music, food, and a great atmosphere, this place is often called an island tradition. Local tip: Peak time attendance for locals is Sunday afternoon, where they host a sand castle building competition.

Dolphin Cove Oyster Bar

Having been in business since 1989, Coastal Living Magazine once called this waterfront restaurant one of the top seafood dives in the United States. Local tip: You can watch the dolphins from the sun deck.
