Coming off explosive sets at Ultra Music Festival, Hard Summer and Tomorrow World, the dynamic DJ/producer duo Milo & Otis are knee-deep in the middle of a banner year. With their hit single "Trap Arms" already creating pandemonium on festival stages and dance floors across the globe, the unrivaled pair are currently working on their debut EP on the OWSLA music label.
With all their success, Milo & Otis almost never came into existence. Made up of Graham Andrew and Matt Nemethy, the two originally started on very different career paths; Graham in college working on an engineering degree and Matt in Orlando as a budding skateboarder. But thanks to fellow DJ and mutual friend Henry Fong, Graham and Matt started working on music together despite the distance between them. Once they both moved to the West Coast the Milo & Otis production machine went into full swing, and interest in the group reached fever pitch.
While their original tracks "Siren (Just One)" and "Friendly City" started turning heads,Milo & Otis got their break working on remixes forOasis' "Wonderwall" andHenry Fong's "Stand Up."The combination of trap, moombathon and electro house earned them a rabid fanbase and caught the ears of renowned producers like Skrillex and A-Trak; Skrillex even handpicked the duo to join his 2014's famed Mothership Tour.
Milo & Otis continued to produce unparalleled remixes for artists such as Zedd feat. Selena Gomez, Duck Sauce, Steve Aoki, and Wolfgang Gartner, as their collaborations with Paul Wall and N.O.R.E for the track "Diamondz," but it didn't end there. A collaboration withA-Trakfor "Out the Speakers," propelled them to new heights. "Out the Speakers" became a full-fledged phenomenon, licensed for both a Mountain Dew spot that premiered during the Super Bowl, and an episode of the hit HBO series "Ballers."
Still reeling from playing festivals including Global Dance Denver, Holy Ship, Fool's Gold Day Off in both Miami and LA, as well as multiple plays at Drais in Las Vegas, the duo are now in the studio hard at work on their first EP.
