Pegboard Nerds at Stereo Live

The Pegboard Nerds duo have hit the ground running in 2016 with the announcement of their upcoming ‘Nerds by Nature’ tour in tandem with the release of a remix package for their Pink Cloud EP. The bass-heavy run embarks in March for two months, and touches down in twenty 18+ age venues across North America. It will be the first series of shows since last fall during the EP release, which was one of Monstercat’s best selling EP’s of 2015. Ticket links are live today at 1PM eastern on PegboardNerds.com. Coming off the success of the “Pink Cloud” EP, which reached #2 on the iTunes dance music charts, the Pegboard Nerds have sourced over 20 new edits of their recent work. Raising over $35,000 for breast cancer awareness and prevention, the artist pair showcases a wide spectrum of genres and sounds, tapping into everything from progressive house to future bass. Whether the beautiful melodies of Ryos and Two Friends, or the hard drum and bass sounds of Rusko; whatever your taste in music, this remix package explores alternate version of the trademark Pegboard Nerds sound.

After the debut of their first mobile game with the likes of Krewella, ATB, and NGHTMRE (along with over a dozen playable artist characters), the superhero team of Parsberg and Odden picks off with the momentum they finished with in 2015, in which they were voted as the best artist of the Monstercat label by fans.

Mexico-born artists Americo Garcia and Jorge Medina have built a name for themselves as a “must watch”, highly talented, up-and-coming duo. Having an incredibly diverse musical background, Boombox Cartel combines their love and knowledge of music with an innovative and unique sound. The duo originally met while attending music school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Their musical chemistry was instantly apparent and after a few self-releases, Boombox Cartel their star power began shining through a swift rise to the top of the Minneapolis DJ scene.

Feeling the call of a warmer climate and larger scene, the duo eventually made the move to Los Angeles where their rise as an international power-house really began to take hold. In quick succession Boombox Cartel released multiple massive singles that were quickly given full rotation by the biggest names in dance music. Their hugely dynamic track, B2U, became one of the songs of the summer 2015, receiving support from everyone from Diplo and Skrillex to Martin Garrix.

With multiple massive releases on the way, non-stop touring and support from top labels, 2015 will close with a bang for this quickly rising duo. Be on the lookout for releases on Mad Decent, a collab with Bro Safari and so much more.
