The Vancouver-based DJ/producer Vanic first popped on ur radar in 2014 when the talent began releasing a wash of remixes, taking on acts like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, CHVRCHES, Bon Iver, and Lana Del Rey. But it was his original tune “Circles” that came out later that year introduced the world to Vanic’s sound. With a production style’s been deemed avant-garde and ahead of the curve, Vanic dances a line between future bass, house, and trap, blending bright synths with ethereal vocals while still making sexy, limitless music.
