Unlike Pluto

Unlike Pluto (aka Armond Arabshahi) began teaching himself how to play piano at the age of 5. His obsession with music lead him to play the guitar, drums and just for the heck of it, the clarinet. With his knack for learning musical instruments, Pluto began navigating different genres of music starting with rock to screamo to pop and most recently, electronic/dance music. From garnering over 20 million plays on his Soundcloud to landing a Hulu commercial, 2015 was a solid year for the up-and-coming producer. After being included in Billboard’s “Dance artists to watch”, 2016 began prominently for Unlike Pluto – one can only imagine what else he has in store.

Mind Against

Etching a musical partnership that draws from the combined roots of IDM, house and techno, Mind Against are the Italian native but Berlin based project of Alessandro and Federico Fognini.

They carved a path for themselves with a series of three EP’s on Life and Death. Their debut “Atlant”, the follow up “Avalon” and the latter “Strange Days” were let loose to critical acclaim. Since then calling the label their home, the duo now takes part in the management and A&R.

2015 came with a celebratory occasion marked by a collaborative EP with Belgian producer Locked Groove, released on Scuba’s Hotflush Recordings.

The biggest cliché of a “sound that’s hard to pin down”, is realer than gravity when it comes to Mind Against. They coax on psychedelic hooks of the 1980s and dance floor anthems bound traditionally to european soil. This backdrop makes for releases and performances that do well against any canvas.
