Take a 'Drive' With Gareth Emery and Disco Donnie Presents This Fall
British talent Gareth Emery has been blessing audiences with his hypnotic sound since 2002. Though his debut release was a white label remix of The Shrink’s classic “Nervous Breakdown,” the track that really kicked things into high-gear was his third release, “Mistral” under his GTR moniker. Since then, the industry veteran has been responsible for hits like “Sanctuary,” “The Saga,” and “Concrete Angel.”
This year, Gareth unlocked another career achievement with the release of his sophomore album Drive on his imprint Garuda back in April. “I’ve basically been writing this new album since Concrete Angel,” he admits, “I can honestly say I think it’s the best work of my career. A day after its release, the album has broke the top 50 on iTunes and became the #1 dance album on the platform as well.
