All We Need Is You! Catch Above & Beyond in Columbus, OH

There’s plenty of love to share as Above & Beyond extend their tireless We Are All We Need North American Tour with a stop in Columbus, Ohio. We’re excited to be a partner for this final addition on the tour, heading to The Bluestone on Saturday, May 17th.

In support of their third studio album, We Are All We Need, the influential UK outfit has been sweeping North America with a massive slew of group therapy sessions, guaranteed to take listeners on an awe-inspiring journey.

Their latest single, “Peace Of Mind,” has been a fan-favorite since the group premiered it in front of a sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden. Coaxing the listener with the inimitable vocals of long-time collaborator Zoë Johnston, “Peace of Mid” is exactly what you’ll have after witnessing the trio perform live so prepare for all expectations to be surpassed when the veterans take to the decks.

Thank You to Everyone Involved in Making ‪Electronic Opus‬ a Beautiful Success

Much like Peggy M. stated on Facebook, we are still grinning from ear-to-ear like the Cheshire cat over the epic and moving experience of Electronic Opus. Words can’t describe how amazing the night was and a mere thank you just isn’t enough.

BT performed to a sold out crowd at the Adrienne Arsht Center of Performing Arts in downtown Miami on Sunday, March 29th taking us on a journey through nature, beauty, and relaxation. We danced. We cried. And danced some more to the full orchestra, electronic beats, captivating vocals, and stunning LED visuals.

Successfully crowd-funded by Kickstarter and produced by the TanZ Group, Electronic Opus, in a phrase, was simply stunning, creating audial and visual beauty that touched the souls of everyone in attendance. The giant, one-of-a-kind 3D mapped wall provided by Volvox Labs sat behind the orchestra with over $300,000 worth of projectors to mesmerize us with colorful patterns and images as the night progressed.

With guest appearances by frequent collaborators Christian Burns and Jes, the night ended on an emotional high with “Satellite,” one of BT’s beloved classics, closing out the multi-faceted experience.

We want to give our many thanks to everyone who was a part of the making of Electronic Opus. It was truly an unbelievable journey through sound, body and mind!

Cheers to 20 Years of Disco Donnie Presents With Our New Video

Disco Donnie Presents is 20 years old and over the past year, we’ve been publishing exclusive content on the site that depicts our journey throughout electronic music and its culture. From Jnco’s, to fuzzy leg warmers; teddy bear backpacks and kandi; intimate clubs to outdoor massives, we’ve certainly seen a lot in our 20 years.

Since we’re already in the party business, we didn’t have a birthday party but we did get some presents in the form of a video. Sending their best wishes from various festivals and shows, we received congratulations from fans, partners, and artists like Tiësto, Armin Van Burren, Hardwell, Krewella, Steve Aoki, Deorro, Seven Lions and many more!

Armin van Buuren and Hardwell to Headline Sun City Music Festival 2015

This year’s Sun City Music Festival feels far off, but we’re already starting to put the finishing touches on our lineup for the Labor Day weekend event. Soon, we’ll be under the desert sky, dancing to some of the most well-known and cutting edge artists making waves in the dance music industry right now. In true SCMF fashion, El Paso’s Ascarate Park will have three stages to host 30+ genre-spanning artists to soundtrack the end-of-summer celebration.

Before we announce the complete lineup we have planned for the massive two-day event, we’ve decided to let you in on a not-so-little secret that will get you excited about forthcoming festival – the headliners!

Our headliner for Saturday, September 5th will be trance legend Armin van Buuren and on Sunday, September 6th DJ Mag‘s #1 reigning DJ in the world, Hardwell, will close out the evening.
