We're Baaaack! Sunset Music Festival Returns to the Ray Jay in 2016
Since the memories of music, lights, and love are still so vivid, it’s hard to believe that it’s been six months since we left the pearly gates of the 2015 edition of Sunset Music Festival. But while we do love a good walk down memory lane, our nostalgia has turned to anticipation as we’re excited to welcome the return of Sunset Music Festival this Memorial Day weekend in 2016.
Join Disco Donnie Presents, Sunset Events, and Committee Events on Saturday, May 28th and Sunday, May 29th at the Raymond James Stadium for another two-day weekend of performances from the artists you love with thousands of your closest friends.
Marking our biggest lineup to date, SMF 2015 was adorned with headlining sets by Tiësto, Skrillex, and Armin Van Buuren as well as a stacked and eclectic roster of talents all throughout the day which included performances by Astrix, Duke Dumont, Oliver Heldens, Porter Robinson, and Flosstradamus, to name a few.
How will we top this year’s mega-lineup? You’re just gonna have to wait and see. Early Bird Ticket on-sale dates will be announced soon.

El 'Papi Gordo' Carnage is Getting Ready for a Tour
Having just dropped his long-awaited debut album Papi Gordo last month, bass-loving, Chipotle gang leader Carnage is about to embark on an accompanying tour to showcase his trademark sound across the world. Named after an alias he’s been going by for many years, the Papi Gordo tour kicks off in 2016 and tickets on-sale now!
Upcoming Carnage Events
- Carnage in Saint Louis, MO on Thursday, January 28th
- Carnage in Houston, TX on Friday, March 4th
- Carnage in Charlotte, NC on Saturday, March 5th
Viva El Papi Gordo
Though Carnage’s success is widely attributed to his trendsetting festival trap tunes, on Papi Gordo, he’s taking a different approach. For his debut album out on Ultra Music, the Los Angeles resident unleashes a 15-track LP that features a variety of collaborations like, Milo & Otis, and AraabMuzik and Rick Ross, the latter making his first-ever foray in electronic music on the album’s latest single “Gordo.” Built on rap-fueled cuts and distorted synths, Papi Gordo retains the hip hop foundation that’s now become synonymous with Carnage’s crate.
Kicking off in New Orleans, the Papi Gordo tour will have Valentino Khan, Jauz, and Kayzo along for the ride on select dates. So if you’re ready to ride, get those Chipotle orders in and don’t miss the Papi Gordo tour when it invades a city near you. Join us on our partnering dates.
